If this award is seen as even remotely influential, it will just be won by the King of the Sockpuppets.
Does the noble prize influence people to work harder? I believe the people who receive such an award are truly influenced by achievement and dedication to be honest, not in the hopes of being recognized, at least most of the time anyways. This was not brought to life to influence but rather to recognize and bring something good to the community in times where we are being surrounded with more and more not so influential news.
Just saying we can't take bitcointalk polls seriously 'cause it's a dirty sock basket, especially here in the anon forums.
I'm not disparaging the noble intent behind your prize, in fact we should go with your typo and call it the Noble Prize. (Not the Nobel prize, that would be an insult to bitcointalk polls).
