Write OP on that thread to ask if Mastercoin Counts, but I don't see why not. Mastercoin desperately needs an honest-to-god purpose to make it worthwhile to keep going.
Mastercoin will qualify (I'll change the bounty wording if that is a concern - to me the bigger concern is whether you guys can actually find a dev to do the work).
Mastercoin can find you a dev to do half a work.
