Do you have a plan on how to use this nomination to promote XC to the public?
Public interest and 'easy to use' is the key to go BIG for any crypto. "Go big or go home", eh?

Winning the vote is something different. I wouldn't make too big of a deal out of it for the time being. Let's hope we manage to get a decent amount of votes for Dan.
Tbh, I wouldn't be to disappointed if we don't make it this year, although I think Dan would definitely deserve it. After all XCurrency and Blocknet are still far from being finished. E.g. it's also unlikely to win the Oscars with a movie that's still in production. (Maybe stupid example but I hope you get what I mean)
