Well, nothing new here. The gold (mostly in the form of various artefacts and coins) was taken from Ukraine by the US within days after the coup. Nice of them to officially confirm it, though.
BTW: For greater laughs: imagine a hobo down the street threatening you with "Sanctions" if you don't give him money. The hobo reminds you of the bankrupt WEstern former powers pretending to "intimidate" while they are all collapsing under their gigantic debts, right?
