Dont care about IPBoard? Thats a silly thing to say, considering you said the website is simple, and IPBoard makes the features of this forum board seem like it was made in the 80's.

Then explain and make suggestions on improvement.
Also, when you criticise someone's work by calling it ugly, you know you wont get a nice reply by the creator of that work.
