This is truly a coin for the masses, not the classes. Darkcoin has all the good stuff from Bitcoin and implemented so many other beneficial things that I find hard to understand why the market simply is standing by and just looking at it. This is going to be the next incredible thing we have ever seen. I think that Gesaffelsteins song: Nameless describes it well. Whenever I listen to it I think of some serious darkcoin mining in an advanced environment in a futuristic landscape.
I think the crypto traditionalist just didn't see Evan coming, most of the coins that were created late 2013 and early 2014 came from people that had a history of previous crypto projects one after the other, it was always the usual suspects. Also, a lot of BTC supporters had good reasons to steer clear of altcoins, too many scams.
Along came Evan with Darkcoin and he was new in the space so whales and pumpers didnt notice Darkcoin on time to take control and abuse it. Darkcoin had time to grow with true supporters, people that saw the potential of both the coin and the developer and that continue supporting the coin today.
Now more people are starting to wake up to the fact that Evan has true genius that is only seen once every blue moon and Darkcoin is consistently showing progress and exceeding expectations. Now with Darksend and specially InstantX, who most didn't believe was even possible, they have no other alternative than to acknowledge DRKs potential and contribution.
We also went through a phase were many copycat competitors came up, confusing some of the newer investors into thinking they could do what DRK was doing, most have subsequently died, further prove that Darkcoin innovations are true accomplishments. So people are starting to see that is way more intelligent to invest in and support Darkcoin.
It will still take time but I am sure Darkcoin will become a movement more than a coin and will win more supporters each week.
