Would it make any sense to transfer your Pennies to an Exchange, delete the old Piggy Bank, install new updated version of Piggy Bank, sync and test deposit a few Pennies, if works ok transfer Pennies back from Exchange to new Piggy Bank ??

The issue was that the QT would not open with the backed up wallet.dat but now all works. I let the thing run all night and when I checked in the morning it was fine. Many thanks to all those that tried to help
