I believe (not sure) that is is still working hard on fixing a few things up due to several changes.

I imagine we will hear from him via a signed JD cold wallet message once he is happy with everything.  Not that he isn't happy now, but there is a little fine tuning I imagine to keep the BTC, DOGE and even LTC crowd happy + everyone else happy as well.

I'm sure BTC reopening isn't out of the question, but I believe BTC is just a little hot right now.  Little too much lime light for comfort and this is a step above a Neopoint and a step below a BTC test-net coin (plus core devs get pissy about selling/buying test-net coins.)
