it does happen everyday... but in this case there is proof of it and this was a major scam to the tune of over 1400 btc....

As for the topic, I was telling people for the longest time in the Litecoin community to use BTer because ive had good experiences. All of these chat logs changes my mind on BTer, which is really upsetting.
