Can anybody tell me how minting works?
I had 73498 FAIR total in my wallet (recovered from Mintpal v1) divided by 2 transactions (50 000 + 23 498).
After 24 days (why 24?) the 50k part of my balance became "transaction is mature".
Today they minted 88 FAIR (why 88?) and 206 FAIR (why 206?) in a few hours. After that there appeared two new transactions for every old transaction in the minting view. Old ones were divided by 2 and there are now 4 transactions (25103, 25103, 11793, 11793).
And they are all zero age!
I have to wait for 24 days again to mint something else?
i'll try

if i understand it right -
coin-age is the fuel that makes the mining engine run. the more coin-age you have,= the more stakeweight you have, which is balanced against netstakeweight to drive the engine. so you have so many blocks with so much weight that compete with so much netstakeweight to generate so many coins
