Can someone explain why the gen2 will be great to buy ? i have some nice amount of gen1 scrypt.

It depends if you think Chris will raise the price for 2nd gens when the algorithms go live end of january. Then it might be a good idea to buy now. But so far most products in store stayed same price or got discounted after a while, so personally i prefer to buy ASICs atm, ecspecially with 35% discount its 4-5 weeks ROI + your shares participate in next multiplication on christmas.
