That's probably how they are going channel their paycoin purchases, well would like too anyways. That would explain their claim of acceptance for all these major retailers. But still if I wanted to use paycoin, I would only have a few ways of getting it, mine it, stake it or buy it with BTC on every crypto currency exchange, (well only one shoddy one at the moment, coin swap   )  still a lot of explaining to do on all this
