Yea if this is a week's worth of mining we should've returned them for at least 1 BTC back, at this rate it'd take a few years of mining at this difficulty to get .3 to .5 of a BTC. But that isn't going to happen since the difficulty will increase. So either that was a test payment of some sort or there was still some of the start up fees to pay off.
