Re: What is been professional like to you?
by

Is been responsible with gambling all it takes to be a professional gambler or someone needs to win in the process many times already to be considered a professional gambler?

I have always win less, no reason to lie but I get curious when I see gambling related posts online about people pointing to some gamblers calling them professional and the only vital point of this all is because they won many times in their own way.

What is a been qualified as a professional gambler in your own world? The winning part or the responsible part of trying to avoid addiction is all.
There is nothing has been for qualified as a proffesional gambler because gambling is somthing what can't be assume as a job or proffesional and that's why I personally think that there is no connection between the gambling and the word "professional" even we used it in some while.

And at the same time, I want to say that the only thing that makes gambling just is responsible gamblers and irresponsible gamblers. Those who understand analysis and at the same time always keep the amount of gambling within their ability to lose are the responsible gamblers.

Since Bangladesh had won the first two matches, this match was not that important for Bangladesh. So Bangladesh did not give full effort in this match. Bangladesh rested important players like emon, hridoy and Mustafiz today. If Mustafiz was in the squad, Pakistani batsmen would never have been able to score a huge 178 runs on this pitch.

Bangladesh batsmen also did not do well today. If Saifuddin could not play the innings of 35 runs, Bangladesh would have lost by more than 100 runs. However, in this series, I am very upset with Bangladesh captain Liton. We did not see Bangladesh captain batting well in a single match. BCB should rest Liton for a few matches and give a chance to a new player.
Actually, the performance of Bangladesh team today was not as expected at all. Because I thought that since they had already won the previous two matches, they would easily win the third match as well because their dominance was high, because they were playing on their own home ground.
However, I was also surprised that the Pakistani batsmen scored 178 runs on such a bowling-friendly pitch, where they could have scored very  normal runs before. Now I feel that if the Pakistan team's batsmen had put in such an effort in the previous match, then it would have been possible for the Pakistan team to win the previous two matches as well.

Actually, I want to say here that this is not only your case, but also the same in my case and I also believe that there are many more people here who feel this way when they lose while gambling and at the same time the next expression is also the same.
That is a big possibility that many others are also feeling the same way.
Ture.

We can tell that our losses are worse than the others. Because that's what we feel when we're on that.
And so, that's the reason they are not too hyped with the wins that they get back. Because if it's about breaking even, they're not even close that.
With your case that it gives you motivation to go on and keep doing it, then that's better for you.
Everyone hates losing their money, no matter how it's goes. The intensity of this is perhaps even more in gambling because, as you said, in most cases, people lose more than they win even it not close to that amount we lose.
In fact, the amount of winning is more than losing in the case of those who mainly get big prizes or get jackpots. But we have to remember that not everyone gets the jackpot prize; in my case, I think it's one in a million. But it's good to have hope, maybe you and me gonna win once.  Grin

Re: Can Bitcoin kill other crypto?

Currently, I can see that Bitcoin has a dominance of 59.7% .
And at the same time I do not think that the altcoin season will come in the market due to the decrease in Bitcoin's dominance by only around 4.69%.
Because before this, when the market created its first bull market in December 2024, Bitcoin's dominance in the market was around 54%. Even then, we did not see a very good performance of altcoins in the market.
And now those who are saying that a alt season will come even it is after bear trap, this seems ridiculous to me. I would say it's just a FOMO of the market.
Bitcoin dominance has dropped more than 4% but also brought ETH to $3k8, 3x higher since the 2024 low, or many meme coins like Pengu have increased 10x since their lowest bottom. What happens if DOM drops below 54% or below 40%?
Bitcoin dominance has recovered but now it is at 60.8%. Now I am not really sure how the Altcoin season will come with this. But yes, I will agree with you that if Bitcoin dominance falls below forty percent then the altcoin season will rule the market.

Quote
Since you're only investing in bitcoin, it's not hard to see why you don't want altcoin season to come. But the market does not move according to our thoughts and desires. Just because we believe and hope it won't happen, doesn't mean it definitely won't happen. Let time tell.
Actually, you are making a wrong assumption here.  Because I never said that altcoin season should not come. What I want to say here is that the situation in the altcoin market makes it unlikely that there will be an altcoin season this season. And this is mainly as a warning because people will invest for FOMO and end up facing losses.

But I would definitely be happy if the altcoin season comes because I have some tiny investments in altcoins and I am optimistic that a good profit can be made during the altcoin season.

I also expected Indian women team to win because they had been playing so well and they really delivered. That second match where rain and DLS method changed it to T20 seems to have given England women team unfair advantage showing how much outside factors can mess with game true outcome. Luckily weather was good for this deciding match letting India women team play their best and even though it was close game their win really showed how skilled and tough they are.
Agreed with that, because I have a high doubt on that match if there is no rain on that day, could the Indian women's team really have won? Because even before this, the Indian women's team defeated the England women's team in a very humiliating way, even though it was in the T20 format.
Now I am getting ready for the Indian women's series in Australia because the Indian women's team will have a very competitive performance against the Australian women's team.

India woman is a great team now they played matches amazing performance. India women set a record total runs for 318 and won the match. England woman chased a record total runs 305 and lost the match. India woman won game by 13 runs. The 3rd match between India woman and England woman was held at Riverside Ground. India woman won the toss and elected to batting first. The best batting performance in the india women was by Harmanpreet Kaur scored 102 runs and 84 balls hitting 14 fours and 0 sixs. Congratulations to India woman.
Actually, I expected the result of this match to be that the Indian women's team would win because they have performed well in terms of batting and bowling throughout the series.

And many thought that maybe the Indian women's team would lose to the England women's team because of the loss in the second match. But what actually happened in the second match was that due to rain, the match was changed from an ODI format to a T20 format by applying the DLS method and here the England women's team got the full benefit and that is why they were able to win the second match. But luckily the weather was good in this match and the Indian women's team was able to give their best performance. Even though the match was a close one, the Indian women's team still gave a great match.

Re: When gambling what do you measure? Luck or chances?
by
|MINER|
on 23/07/2025, 20:48:36 UTC
Different gambling activities have different chances attached to them and when I mean chances I am referring to the probability you have for actually win the bet or hit the jackpot in games like crash and slots. This is basically because sometimes unrealistic bets can sometimes play out as a win and some other times bets that have a high winning chance can eventually become the losing bet.

I believe people who gamble on sports may understand this better since sometimes in sports betting some gambler's prefer to go for the smaller odds that usually have a higher winning chance and sometimes they can still end up a losing game however some prefer to go for the big game with big odds and smaller winning chances.

What's usually your pick as a gambler since sometimes some persons are luckier than others?
Actually, it is another difficult question to answer.  For many people, it is easy to answer this question, but in my case, I think it is actually difficult to answer whether you can win more by playing gambling games by analyzing them or if you just choose one depending on luck. I am calling this difficult because we all know that gambling is based on luck and the final result of the analysis is also determined by luck.

However, I would like to add here that since gambling depends on chance, it would not be wise to just blindly bet without any analysis. In my case, I keep both of them related to each other, just like I believe in luck and I bet by analyzing. And because I believe in luck, my amount is always within a certain limit that I am capable of losing.

I do not believe that banning gambling will do anything of any use. People who will want to gamble, will gamble, whether their countries allow it or not.

The governments should be smarter and instead of plainly putting a blanket ban on it, the better way would be regulating it and making it safer for people. But ignorant governments would rather pretend the bans work and leave their population to the dangers of shady, dangerous, black market casinos.

It is in human nature to want to gamble and going against that is going against human nature.

That being said, I am surprised that anyone in their right mind would buy any kind of code from North Korea. There is probably spyware or something else included.
Absolutely true.
It is not possible to completely free from gambling by simply banning on gambling because gamblers will still gamble even if they use a VPN. Moreover, gambling sites currently create multiple mirror links where, even if a country bans them, players can bypass it and gamble.

And besides, I have already seen many discussions that there are many third world countries where gambling is completely banned, but underaged people still gamble and become addicted.

Me either, I don't like when I am losing. But we can always hide in that reasoning that we're learning something new just to justify and flee from that disappointing moment.

That doesn't happen to all of us but we have to enjoy still even if we're on the losing side and we can move on from that.
Accepting the reality that sometimes we win and many times we'll lose is hard but, you'll get used to it.
Actually, it would be wrong to say that it doesn't happen to all of us. Because I think most people in gambling even though their total loss amount will be much higher, they still win in some cases. Personally, I think no one has worse luck than me because I face losses most of the time, but even then, the occasional win that comes through gives me the motivation to move forward.

I don't know the companies' revenues, but I know they're completely different businesses; both have their advantages and disadvantages. Of course, casinos are booming right now, even with greater visibility, but that doesn't mean they're better.
If you google a little, I think you'll find out which sector is currently generating the most revenue. At first, I also believed that the gambling site industry is ahead of trading platforms in terms of generating revenue.

However, that does not mean that everyone will be able to generate revenue in this sector or that everyone will be successful in this sector. In fact, I think that those who have more knowledge in the subject and at the same time enjoy working in those sectors should be engaged in those sectors.

To me, running a financial market always seemed more profitable than running a casino.
But in crypto, is it the other way around? Are casinos making more money than trading platforms?
In my opinion, it is very difficult to take both these services as a business in this competitive market today.
Because when you come to a market, you will have big whale trading platforms sitting as your computer with a market thousands of times bigger than yours, and at the same time, casino sites in the case of gambling.

However, I think that the gambling market is more profitable. Although it takes a good amount to start, once you get it running, you don't have to look back at those casino platforms. There are also many casinos that started with $400k and have now achieved billions in market capitalization.

I think it depends entirely on the culture. Because if you look at it, gambling is not popular everywhere, but there are many countries in the world where gambling is prohibited in their culture and in those places you will see that the amount of gambling is very low.
On the other hand, most Western countries do not suppress gambling in their culture and therefore the amount of gambling is also very high in those countries. There is no cultural prohibition on gambling, so it is natural that they would receive support from the government. But I can't say how much a role of Big Paycheck plays.

If Bitcoin continues to remain over $115k then things will surely be positive for the whole market and there's chance to see alt coins going up as well. I believe in next few months the market will be at its peak and by then there's chance that most of the alt coins will be at their peak and few of them might form new ATH's by then.
However, as we have seen in other seasons, when Bitcoin recovers from a bear trap and creates a new all-time high price, the market is very risky. Because at this time, there is a high probability of a market falldown and at the same time, FOMO is created among the common people in the market, due to which most people make the wrong decisions.

And I don't really think we'll see an altcoin season this season. If we really did see an altcoin season, we would already have some signals going on, like the price of Ethereum maybe crossing its previous all-time high.

It's like the enrolment fee that we pay and even we lose, we're still learning something. If someone is doing a test and he's losing, that's also fun.
The truth there it isn't just all about the losses and lessons. But also, there could be some wagering requirements that they're trying to meet.
And so, that's still fun for them and it's like a side quest that they have to reach in able for them to have that reward while having fun despite getting losses.
I think there can be lots of arguments that you can get pleasure from losing in gambling, but if I'm honest, I have to say that I don't feel that good every time I lose.
Basically, the enjoyment here is that you wager many times and end up with some funds. And it doesn't always happen to me. I try to accept reality and calm my mind. Maybe it was my ticket to see a horror film.  Roll Eyes

Pakistan's top-order batsman played very poor cricket getting out very badly in the first two matches. Ahmed Daniyal debut Pakistani player is all rounder they picked 2 important wickets and also played 17 runs inning and they will try to win match for Pakistan but catch out at boundary. Bangladesh bowling performance is amazing in this match Shoriful Islam bowling spell out classed they picked three crucial wickets by just giving only 17 runs.  Pakistan also put in a good bowling performance but the partnership between Jaker Wali and Mehndi Hassan proved to be a match winning. The man of The Match is Jaker Ali for his outstanding batting efforts scored a well deserved half century and out after scoring 55 runs from just 48 balls and assited Bangladesh to set a total of 130 plus.
I would like to agreeing with your opinion that the Pakistani team played an worst performance in this match To be honest I wasn't expected that Pakistan team will going to lose this match even if there is an easy target.
I would definitely call easy target 133run as the target in T20 format even if it is the very bowling friendly pitch. Yes, many are saying that Bangladesh team wins most of the matches on their home ground, which is true, but losing the match by this run is a real shame. I think Pakistan team will lose the third match as well.

Even though all team failed but Fakahr Zaman was playing so good, on the very first ball, he tip the ball and understood in what way the spiner is going to bowl and on the very next ball, amazing boudnary on the front by him then on the third ball, he was trying to do it again and he moved his steps far but he did not saw the ball that it is in gap and took the good descion there to tip the ball again and on the very next ball, he tried for big and long short but that was the edge of the bat bowl goes too up but the fielder left it. That was a super easy catch but bad luck of the fielder. In the first and second overs, they did bad fielding but after that, Bangladesh bowlers got out Saim Ayub and that is a very amazing catch by Mustafizur Rahman.
Bangladesh are actually starting to recover from the Sri Lanka T20 series, especially their bowling side seems to me to be much better than before.
It seems that most of the Bangladeshi bowlers have returned to their own form, now it remains to be seen how their form will be in the next two matches. Because before this, the Bangladesh team has been seen to play very few matches well and perform badly in many matches.

Many users claim that they play for fun. At the same time, they do not hide the fact that all the money is lost one way or another, quickly or slowly. If you are losing money, then how can you enjoy it? I could never understand this. I would understand if a person said that now I am losing, but during the game I am learning and developing a strategy and a game system, and also testing this system during the game. In other words, you can play for research purposes and, losing money, enjoy the anticipation of future wins, since you have a promising strategy and a good consistent game system. But people generally do not play for research purposes. People just place bets more or less randomly, lose money and claim that they enjoy it. Is this stupidity or deceit? Maybe such people like the atmosphere of the game? But then why not play free games? But no, gamblers rarely play free games?
Why? The answer is paradoxical - because you can't lose money there, lol! And after that you say that gamblers are reasonable people.
It's actually a very difficult question how we can still have fun when we lose our money.

But in this case, I think that each person has a different feeling and that's why they handle the matter differently. Of course, losing money can never make a person laugh.
But I personally consider this matter as a source of entertainment, just like we buy a subscription to Netflix, or spend money to travel somewhere. Similarly, I console myself by thinking that maybe I am buying the craziness of playing games with money.

Reputation is built over time, so online casinos that are known reputable here in the forum, I would say, is indeed reputable and trustworthy. But yes, there are so many scam casinos just like the known one in this forum. So before you signed up and tempted with the clickbaits or promos, try to search the feedback or players' reviews and you will have insights on how they are treating their players. In this gambling board alone, you can check the trust summary of the casino's rep and you will get the idea if they are indeed worthy or not.
I actually meant the same thing, currently new crypto online casinos are being created all the time but most of them are scammers. In many cases, it has been seen that they promote themselves by hiring big influencers, and if we talk about social media, it has become like a cancer nowadays, in almost every advertisement, we see promotions of new gambling sites.

And for this reason, I think that for fair play in gambling, one should follow community-based reviews and then choose the right and reportable casino.

Means that you came to this gambling industry a bit too late. I say like this because casinos used to give new players something called by "No Deposit Bonus", where players were given an amount of their account balance and they can use it to play the balance without making any deposit. The balance is locked of course until a specific wagering requirement is met. Once balance is unlocked, players are able to use it as they wish, whether to continue playing or withdraw it. However, this type of bonus is no longer being used by most casinos because there were too many abuses by greedy people who tried to make money for free from this type of bonus.
I don't know if there are any signs of a late arrival or from long before in the gambling industry here.
I know that no deposit bonuses exist in the gambling industry and how its works and as well to attract gamblers, but currently I can't find any casino that offers this type of bonus. I just see them in reviews and contests.
If you know of any such casino or if this offer is currently running, please suggest it to me. I last saw this type of no-deposit bonus offer a few years ago with easy wagering requirements.

Have you checked the altcoin market and bitcoin dominance lately? Bitcoin dominance has dropped from 65% to 60% and will soon continue to drop to 50% or even 40%. Along with that, the altcoin market is showing signs of strong growth led by ETH as ETF cash flows have been consistently higher than bitcoin in recent days.
I am pretty confident and betting that once ETH breaks ATH it will trigger altcoin season and history will repeat itself again.
Crypto is just a speculative market, and its performance depends more on manipulation than supply and demand. Altcoin season hasn't arrived yet simply because it's not the right time. Like every cycle before it, altcoin season only comes when there are not many people who believe in it anymore, it only appears when most people have sold their altcoin bags and believe that bitcoin is the only coin will go up in price.
History repeats itself once again.
Currently, I can see that Bitcoin has a dominance of 59.7% .
