DEV should come out and answer these questions.

1) The swap for XWC v2 ended months ago

2) Yes whitecoin is POS

They have been answered a hundred times, use the search function.

Thank you for the reply, but hopefully they can make an exception for this case. Just came back to visit the forum again and found-out that old WC coin was been swapped last year. Recovering it could help me a lot.

Good day, I have a whitecoin from old version (WC) can I still exchange it to this (XWC) version? I have around 40,000 WC coins. Hope you could help me recover it, I've lost a lot of bitcoins from my investments with crypto.

Thanks for the help!!

that's what I would have expected from a serious and legit service, not an instant back out.
If you ask a scammer an uneasy question this is what they will do (unless they think they can weasel out with another lie, of course).

PLEASE NOTE:
Blake256 pool at unitus.blake256.com is offline while we work on a block submission issue.
Blake256 merge mining is not running at shares.blake256.com due to the same issue.

** You can still mine this coin solo!!! **

I am mining solo on a single 7970 (2GH/s) and get a block every hour or so.

Create a unitus.conf file in your blockchain directory, and add the following:

Code:
rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
rpcport=10000
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
server=1
daemon=1

Obviously change your user/pass, port does not matter- choose one available on your system.

Save this file, and reopen your wallet. Then setup cgminer to connect to your local machine, address is simply 127.0.0.1:10000 (or whichever port you chose)

At this time, we are not 100% sure why blocks are not confirming when submitted through pool software, be it Eloipool+MMP or NOMP. It seems p2pool development had been in progress but was abandoned.

While mining normally, the following is encountered when a block is submitted:
Code:
ERROR: CheckBlock() : hashMerkleRoot mismatch

When merge mining, the following is encountered when a block is submitted:
Code:
ERROR: Aux POW merkle root incorrect

This may be caused by the Blake256 algorithm pools expect encoding the hash and the block with the PoW algorithm (blake), while Unitus does hashing with PoW (blake) but the block is SHA. However, this is the configuration of X11, and it functions normally.

The Blakecoin/Photoncoin/etc developers have already made it perfectly clear they will not assist in this matter, so myself and the Unitus dev are working on this issue as we can. Community input is welcome.

Can you share your config on solo mining? I'm having a "pool 0 slow/down or url or credentials invalid" problem.. I've followed your guide, I'm using cgminer 3.7.2 with Blake-256 support. TIA

If your miner is on a different physical machine to your wallet you may need to add an additional rpcallowip line for the miner's ip in unitus.conf

Mining @ 640kh/s with 270x right now... Anyone using 270x here? Just want to know what would be the peak hashrate of it  Cheesy

I have MSI R9 270 @ 585 KH/s.

But it is old 14.4 WHQL without any tweaks in miner software.

I'm using mod 14.6.. Maybe I'm doing fine with my speed atm.. Thanks Randywald  Cool

Good day everyone, any fix for this error? I've already tried 13.12, 14.6 drivers also the Spread-GPU-miner and spreadcoinx11-sgminer-girino mining tool but error still exist.
This was a bug in amd drivers, miner works only with latest drivers, I added the following info to OP:
You need latest drivers to use this miner. Known to work on 14.9 installed from file named amd-catalyst-14-9-win7-win8.1-64bit-dd-ccc-whql.exe from http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows%207%20-%2064
14.9 doesn't support 6 cards,does anyone has modified inf file?

Yes I also have 6 cards. Hope there's a mod around.

i have troubles with sgminer and spreadminer from this topic
maybe x64 is the reason ?

"I have troubles" doesn't really tell much and I don't know about the sgminer version but I'm happily running the CUDA miner on Win 7 x64 so that probably isn't the problem.

sgminer crashes at start
i tried on x32 & x64 win 7
7970, catalyst 13.12 & 14.4
the same result
http://s017.radikal.ru/i405/1411/a0/d2727e54ea23.jpg
me too,280x crashes on catalyst 13.12 & 14.4

Well unfortunately I can't participate in the mining of this coin because my laptop only has 4400 graphics card which I don't think can support X13 algo for mining Sad But I will be paying close attention to this coin unless someone has some suggestions Smiley

rent some hash is my suggestion
any suggestions on a site where I can rent some hash?

rent it here: www.miningrigrentals.com/rigs/x13 or www.betarigs.com/list?miner_type=7

Good day to all,

I'm new with Scrypt-N and looking for a much stable tool. I've tried the vertminer 0.5.3 and sgminer 5 but having some HW errors. Any help with the configurations of R9 270X GPU? Thanks in advance  Smiley

I think you might want older drivers for vertminer (I used thekev miner with 13.12 (old) drivers), and newer drivers for sgminer 5. Someone correct me if I'm wrong please...

You need 13.xx drivers, I think.

13.12 is decent but 14.4 is way more stable. I use 0.5.3 but I can provide you all the miners I have if needed.
Please let me know.

EDIT: You might want to check out this page: http://www.verters.com/vertcoin-hardware-list

I'm using 14.6 now. I'll try to check those drivers later tonight. Hope I can get rid of those HW errors. Thanks for the help guys.. Much appreciated and btw more thanks to Wolf0 neoscrypt kernel  Wink
