That is interesting experiment, but most of the people are money hungry and it may be difficult for non-profit community driven project to attract attention even if it is deserved.

Hopefully the marketing campaign is going to produce some results soon, it seems the lack of interest may be the end of VRC / VRM.

It is really a pity to see a nice coin with interesting new algorithm die like that Sad Block explorer linked above shows strange data http://45.32.180.199:3001/ - there is still some activity - latest block 302234 : http://45.32.180.199:3001/api/getblockcount

I believe VRC + VRM is interesting couple and there may be some future, but as mentioned above, a bit more advertisement is needed to increase the volume and awareness.

I forgot about this sorry. What version 64 or 32 are you compiling?

The problem above is with 64 bit linux version from veriumlaunch.

I can compile from git and run just fine, no problem there.

What would you recommend ? Imagine your money were there. They took away (BFX counted in) around 18 % of your deposits - which is less if you held BTC from 400 to 600 (+50%).

The price of VRC is around 8500 at Bittrex, so from today's view 1 VRM is in 50k - 90k range.
I have no numbers with regards to mining profitability.

Although the price BTC - USD is not "stable" from daily view, it is quite stable from monthly view. And the average is going up.
