yes but still my question is

if it is a fact that the Government runs the Show with Bitcoin, would you get out of it or not??

As soon as you own some coins and are running a full node you did become one of those that "run the Show".
So the questions is: should we get out as soon as you are doing this? Cheesy

I watched this trailer 10 times. Where can I watch the whole thing?

You can watch it with me in Chicago on Friday Smiley

https://twitter.com/BitcoinDoc/status/487718178605113344

Well this sounds evil but make a low res copy while your at it so we can get it over with
It's not evil, information wants to be free. Someone please do this. Maybe we should start a BTC pool bounty for whoever gets us a copy first?

"Beware those who would deny you access to information, for in their hearts they dream themselves to be your masters"
No....that's beyond dumb. That's like me asking you to go to work for 6 months for free. That's like saying all food wants to be eaten, so let's rob the grocery store. I'll play no part in theft.
Well, maybe that would be just a punishment for making awful wrong business decisions.
Think about it, it is a documentation about a cutting edge technology called Bitcoin but they insist to release it on some ancient tech of the 90s (AKA DVD) ?
What's next? A VHS release? Accepting federal reserve notes only?

Let It Ride is the most fun game I've played that's not the "norm" for a casino game
I definitely agree. I also like "easy holdem". I play both at https://playt.in

I guess they are currently making millions by not releasing it anywhere... Roll Eyes

Maybe we should do a bounty for the first one that posts a torrent link here Smiley

Torrent? boo.

The creators of this obviously spent
their own hard-earned money, plus
their energy, effort, and time to
make it.

Why do you feel entitled
to watch it free, if they decide they
want to charge money for it?

Since some of you have never seen a Bitcoin site paying interest... there are a few Bitcoin sites like playtin (fixed rate) or mcxnow (variable rate) that really do this.

There are people out there so lazy that they can't send some BTC to a site and click 4 buttons?  Damn, I can only imagine the struggle when they get hungry..
Well again, I will be investing mainly in Playtin shares, and they go for 1.7BTC a piece although you could still buy fractions. Leveraging with a fund would allow compounding, etc.
Price is approaching 1.8BTC fast

I might as well stop the Dice-Sites investments in this and just go as a group-buy for Playtin shares.  Wink
A group buy would be great. We could get the shares for 1.086BTC, that is 0.6BTC per share cheaper
a) will you transfer the shares after the group buy?
b) will there be escrow?

Yes, they are provably fair. Just click that check-mark button to open that pane. They even have an animation about their shuffling in there.

Actually it seems that no one sells shares because of the very high daily dividend. And I am no exception.

Shares are currently traded at 1.7 while "production costs" are only 1.08. This is a very huge spread...

1 bit is also 1/8 of one USD.

Seeing all the hoopla over BTC versus XBT I would support the following:

1 BTC = 1 Bitcoin = same as it ever was

1 XBT = 1 Bit = 0.000001 BTC

1000000 XBT (Bit) = 1 BTC (Bitcoin)

I would be behind this 100% as it "fixes" the whole BTC/XBT issue and give those who have been worried about the size of the BTC something to use.
Pure genius! A brilliant solution!

Re: Buying stocks with Bitcoin profits
by

on 24/04/2014, 02:13:31 UTC
I would like to make sure that my first million won't be the last one. For this I would reinvest a portion of my bitcoin profits to stocks.

3 questions rise:
1. Must I pay income tax before investing my bitcoin earnings to stocks?
2. How profitable can stocks be?
3. This is probably lame but: what stocks would you suggest to buy?

I wouldn't own stocks to trade them but to get the dividends. However, I have no idea how profitable stocks are in that sense. Can anyone tell me how much money I should invest in some nice stocks in order for them to earn me noticeable dividends?
Another possibility is to just stay in Bitcoins:
1. Well, as long as you stay anonymous...
2. Depends on the actual stock of course
3. https://playt.in/#dividends#pbbs

Even more than yesterday: 0.00342318 BTC per share, that is more than 10%/month! That's the way I like it Grin
