enough with this hyperinflation meme, do you guys even know what hyperinflation is? it is when you append a 0 every other day in the prices. Do you see that comming? 10% or 15% heck even 20% inflation is not hyperinflation.

in some aspects hyperinflation is better than normal (hidden) inflation, due the fact that is a reality admitted by our rulers, leaders and commanders in chiefs

hyperinflation is a terminal condition, you have passed the point of no return you are heading to a social meltdown. Normal inflation hidden or open is when you are still in orbit. Not the same thing not to be confused.
You will know when you are in hyperinflation when bitcoin reaches "the moon".

I agree, but govts actions don't manifest themselves immediately

Still the fear of hyperinflation is irrational, it is noones interest to enter that territory, and lessons are learned from the past painfully, right now the world's problem is deflation, take a look at interest rates. Right now money is artificially overpriced.

added more,

about Right now money is artificially overpriced.

to me they are trying to artificially undervalue, the US had enough of cheap renminbi and started to depreciate the dollar

my currency gained against the dollar 15 year high, them we started to depreciate too

look to gld and oil 500% in 12 years, are we experiencing peak oil and peak gold at the same time? and almost the same proportion? don't think so

Still the fear of hyperinflation is irrational, fear is always irrational, but high inflation and hyperinflation will be a reality, already is, how so could CPfukinI not count energy and food (those fckrs c unts) how americans accept that, now there is lobby in my country that we should adopt the us criteria to measure inflation ( and always trying to do the best for ppl) since putting jesus in a cross thank U gov

I agree, but govts actions don't manifest themselves immediately, there is so much money in the system right now that assets worldwide are in a huge bubble, in my country (brasil) housing prices get a 300% high in rio de janeiro, this is due the money printing by the fed not all $$$ printed stay in the us... they seek higher interest rates (seek about bubble in the brics nations) all of us are experiencing that

its simple

US cant raise the interest cause the debt is so huge, there are two ways cut gov spending or inflate the way out like a ballon... the tapering is a scene to the public so Bernanke could leave the chair

the seeds are planted (and is good and bad for btc since 10k wont be a 10k much longer) and could be a little conflagration in the way

I dont think any goverment can kill Bitcoin. Sure they can do some damage but Bitcoin have great comunity and he will recover. Look how BTC will stand after USA wakes up and discover cheap BTC for investing.

what usa? ppl or establishment (gov and corps)? one side wants new opportunities the other the status quo. (is money what we are trying to mess here) not listening to music or watching porn... THIS IS THE REAL DEAL

thanks to snowden we know how big is the surveillance infrastructure

to me gov can make illegal to own bitcoin and limit internet traffic anytime (with any excuse that sheeple will accept)

will not be a smooth ride to 100k

For anybody who think that BTC will rise again has been fooled by many manipulators.

I exactly did the same a while a go because i believed in the value.

Now the European Union & BTC-China will close the transactions between their real currencies.
It's pitty that such thing can happen, even i have a lot of BTC but nothing will change that anymore.

Best thing to do is just sell what you still have, and leave it like it has never exists.

Stock markets will never give an invitation to BTC on Wallstreet as well , so if they don't believe in the virtual currency , it will slowely ends to a low value, if there will be a value ..  because people will not get the oportunity anymore  to convert their bitcoins into real currencies like EUR or USD.

Trololo!

Yeaaa, sure it can go down a bit more, but look, here 4 bubbles are clearly visible and ask yourself in which point we are right now comparing to the previous bubbles.

http://i57.tinypic.com/b5ikav.png

statistics is the art of waterboarding numbers until they say what we want! so whoever conceived this chart should be promoted to Guantanamo... sorry folks

meanwhile, the down trend is here with the IRS an China stuff... how low, to me, lower is better, since I missed the train... knowing about it since 2k11, wich makes me feel good, nobody in my family had a chance to be a millionaire and forgot about it...

and, to me, the real biting in bitcoin is to come, if mp3 caused such scandal, and the dollar is defended by wars worldwide, bitcoin is going to be really hurted  until (or if) it prevails

we cant be naïve about it, we are trying to mess with the biggest club in town

with bitcoin internet will change, we all will need to change our online practices, or at least have a dedicated terminal to transactions

internet will be swarming with virus (even governamental worms like stux net)

will be warfare (everyone against everyone) even content sharing I don't think is safe anymore, and could be dangerous

so this is my prophecies

meanwhile, ppl should pursuit always medium prices
