this is great, people accepting Crypto in the business is not just a way from them to learn about but build wealth. Will you also be moving beyond the POS device at some point and have a lighter version on a mobile device as well?
yea, believe they are already on the way to do beyond the POS device
they have launched pundi-pundi in Indonesia for a while, it allows user to transfer the money by scanning the other's qr code, in the same analogy, it is the matter of time, they will shift or doing this in parallel
Pundi X is highly integrate with or, even say so, based upon pundi-pundi. people (merchant and consumer) can store, buy, sell cryprocurrency in pundi-pundi

1. What's your product?
We are building a decentralized ecosystem for merchants around the world to buy cryptocurrency. The project includes a smart device (like a EDC machine), a secured card (like mandiri e-money but more secure). They are all connected to the blockchain and developers and token holders from all around the world can sell cryptocurrency and services. A regular person visiting a convenience store (say indomaret) can now buy cryptocurrency like they are buying aqua, they can also use the cryptocurrency they own to buy aqua.

If this is such a big barriers then they probably are losers that won't get anything from live if they don't change, and probably would lose their BTC to scams or hacks or because they panic sold at the wrong time, so they wouldn't make difference in the end.

What are your goals? Are you planning to buy hefty amounts, or just a few bucks' worth?
If you are looking to invest heavily, I would buy something like a TREZOR (a hardware wallet) which will keep your coins more secure. This WILL set you back over $100, so make sure it's worth it.
Otherwise, just use a lightweight wallet you trust. Electrum is a fairly good one IMHO.
Buying bitcoin can be as easy as dealing with a human being through a platform like localbitcoins, or as "complicated" as registering on an exchange that provides FIAT services, follow all KYC procedures, send a bank transfer, and buy coins from the exchange.
If you _do_ follow this path, do not store your coins on the exchange for the long-term. Always use a wallet that you can control, always encrypt your wallet, and always keep a physical handwritten copy of your recovery or private key. in a safe.
It's not rocket science, but you need to read around a bit, and try things out. practice makes perfect. don't practice on 15 grand at a time.

We are looking for 1-2 full-time campaign managers to join our team. The ANN, Bounty, Pre-ICO, and ICO campaign will be run from HQ in central Jakarta. We will be supported by campaign managers from other parts of the world.
Main requirements:
1. passionate about blockchain and cryptocurrency.
2. full member or higher (esp with campaign experience: translation, bounty, manager)
3. relocate to Jakarta for 10-12 weeks (we provide accommodation if needed)
4. good at getting people excited about things.
Other bonus:
1. If you know Bahasa, Korean, Japanese or Russian it will be a plus.
2. Working remotely accepted if you are very strong.
