Good catch. This is exactly why free VPNs are dangerous, there's is a saying if you're not paying for the product, you are the product.
VPN like these often log browsing data, sell it to advertisers, or worse.

Insted You can use paid VPN with transparent policies.

Also be careful with browser extensions, they often request way more permissions than they need.

Re: Bitcoin Too Big to Die? Effect of "strategic reserves" on bear markets
by

Yes, some people will spread FUD for their own gain, while others simply dislike crypto and will do everything they can to create more FUD. On the other hand, those who truly understand Bitcoin will hold strong and not be shaken.

your government has a strategic Bitcoin reserve, could it then simply "die"?
That's an interesting perspective. I agree that liquidity isn't the biggest shift if governments and large corporations treat Bitcoin as a strategic reserve, it naturally becomes harder for the average person's to believe the 'Bitcoin is dead' headlines that used to dominate every bear market.

Is Bitcoin now "too big to die"? Could this accelerate the volatility reduction we're already witnessing, and finally pave the road to make it a more stable and "solid" asset, and a true gold competitor?
I think "too big to die" is a fair way to frame it. Even if volatility continues for a while, the psychological floor feels stronger because now Bitcoin embedded in balance sheets and, potentially, state level reserves. That kind of legitimacy could be what finally reduces the extreme boom and bust cycles over time.

Re: $243M bitcoin scam that led to kidnapping and chaos

This incident teaches us an important lesson that is Cybercrime is not as easy or safe as it seems. Despite stealing $243 million worth of Bitcoin these young hackers made many serious mistakes that led to their downfall. One revealed his real name online and another participated in the crime without using a VPN. After the heist, they began living a luxurious life, partying at clubs, driving expensive cars, flaunting money on social media that caught the attention of investigators,  and were betrayed by their own team.

This incident shows that no matter how technically complex the crime, everything in this digital world leaves a mark. The stolen money is now in the custody of the US government, proving that even stolen crypto is not safe.

Re: Beware of telegram scammers, yet another scam attempt

The title says it all. Today I was approached by an unknown person on telegram who claims to be a reseller of telegram usernames. He offered me a total sum of 8K USDT for my username. Being aware of this method of scamming I decided to troll this guy a bit, pretending to know nothing. Note that my username isn't of anything significant, I just used some words and set it.

Upon doing a reverse search on the scammers account, I was able to acquire these information. The fact that he is using a TG premium and an old account makes him more realistic. These guys are trying hard to make themselves look genuine.

This type of scam is now common on Telegram. I myself have faced it, a few days ago, two such scammers messaged me. One of them said my Telegram username rate was $2500 and the other said $3000. Out of that, I agreed to $3000. Then that scammer told me that the Fragment fee is 5 percent or has to be paid in advance which is $150. For this, he created a link which looked exactly like the official Fragment link but whenever I copied and pasted it in a browser, that link turned into another link which looked exactly like a scam site. So I blocked him right away. Because the website that was shown there was not the Fragment website. If I had connected my tone key on the website and given them $150, I would not have received a single go back, they would never have given me the $3000 they promised.  This way I was saved from a big scam. If ever you get a offer from Telegram or WhatsApp or any other social media that is too good to be true then, it is definitely a scam. How can a normal username worth that much, If they really want to buy it they can still offer a price for my username from official Fragment site but they didn't. If you ever face this kind of scammer then please check your username on Fragments official platform if it's true or not thank you

What are your thoughts on this
Yes, you are right sir. If you do not have funds that you can afford to lose, then you should not invest in Bitcoin. But I think you should start an at-list, otherwise you will never get that fund in your hand. Many of us save in life thinking about the future. Then we can save some percentage of those savings in Bitcoin if we want. I think that rather than having a stable income, you should have the mentality that you are saving some for yourself at the end of the day.
