It would be great to see a chart of the pool's hashrate over a time (1day, 7day, 30day, etc.). Happy to see that the pool is growing.  Smiley

On http://coinsolver.com/coins.php, there are coins more profitable that the one currently being mined (StableCoin [SBC]). Why does the pool not switch over to those coins?

I was hoping someone made a bitstream for something else other than SHA-256 and scrypt mining for a BitForce or X6500.

Might want to add a note for Switchercoin:

Lack of transparency concerning coin switches, pool stats, and withdraws.

OP should be answering questions in this thread but since he isn't, I'll have a go:

1) When do payouts occur?

I've been waiting on my first payout for a couple (6+) hours.

2) In the top right it says "Estimated Per Payout", Is that in Litecoin or is that in the current coin that its mining (Dogecoin atm)?

It is in the current coin being mined.

Buy and hold is not going to make you money

Long-term, you are wrong. Imagine the guy that brought @ 266 in April, must have been kicking himself so he sold for a loss. Should have just held it. Buy it, and put it in cold storage. Don't even bother looking at the charts everyday or you'll go nuts. I'm am not saying to completely disconnect oneself from the bitcoin community, but rather to stay informed and never risk more you are willing to lose.

Just my two satoshis.   Smiley

Bortmehanic,

Are conversions to LTC through Cryptsy automated, or do you manually trade them on the exchange?

EDIT: Ли пpeoбpaзoвaния в LTC чepeз Cryptsy aвтoмaтизиpoвaн, или вы вpyчнyю тopгoвaть ими нa биpжe?

As of 01/26/2014 20:45 UTC, the pool is mining Anoncoin, even though Dogecoin is still more profitable. Why?

x6500 on bfgminer 3.10.0

I am running an x6500 with bfgminer 3.10.0 with bitstream "fpgaminer_x6500-overclocker-0402.bit".

Is there a way to lock the clock rate of the processors? They continue to increase by 2Mhz a minute until it bfgminer hangs with hundreds of HW errors.

When I start bfgminer, I select [M]anage devices, then [C]lock speed, 200 [Enter], then do the same for the other processor of the FPGA.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am running an x6500 with bfgminer 3.10.0 with bitstream "fpgaminer_x6500-overclocker-0402.bit".

It default starts at 190Mhz per processor and jumps 2Mhz up every minute or so until it hangs at about 222Mhz per processor. Is there a way to lock the clock rate of the processors? When I [M]anage devices and set both processor clocks to 200Mhz, it continues to increases the clock by 2Mhz every minute.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The short answer is bitcoin - no, altcoins - maybe.

what's best to mine sha or scrypt?

Just input your hashrate and wattage and find the most profitable coin to mine.

one that involves more than 1 private key

So you would need both private keys to spend the coins from that address?

Vanity Addresses and Private Keys

I just had a couple questions regarding vanity address generators and private keys.

Why would person A use a vanity address created by person B if person B knows the private key to that address? Wouldn't this defeat the whole purpose of keeping your keys secret?

Also, how safe are vanity address generators? How can I trust that the developer will not steal my coins?
