Is encrypted coins such as Monero capable to be bet in the casino?

Privacy-focused coins will be added in the future, as our project develops. Smiley

How is this possible? How will smart contract detect the address?

Bitcoin hype maybe getting cold, But mostly i think its because the devs are working way too slow.
The founders are not getting their mind set on the things they should improve on.

The bet size is so big, do you guys have plan to decrease the minimum bet size in the future? its 80 usd minimuim for each bet.
Absolutely! We are working on solutions to decrease the minimum bet size with batching. The improvements made in Ethereum will also contribute to decreased fees for Ethereum transactions, allowing us to lower bet size minimums. Stay tuned!

Sounds good, I loved it in every other way! I would also want to suggest that, it would be much nicer if you can also promote more games. More fun.

Thanks for trying out our website! We are adding additional games of course. It's in development Smiley

A Blackjack game would be very interesting, Looking to see forward of the development.

Haha, I'm down for a BlackJack Game. But is it possible with decentralised smart contract to do so?

Yes, it is possible, Basically all they need is to replace the dice game coding into blackjack.

There were projects similar to this before, but I have never seen one like this.
I am a casino lover, and I WOULD LOVE to see blackjack and maybe roulette to be on the site.
I am watching this. Eyes on you!

I browsed the Consensys account on Github and saw gnosis.js repository. Is Consensys behind Gnosis? I don't think it is stressed much but I admit I do not follow Gnosis too closely. While raising concerns about centralization, it nevertheless increases trustworthiness of the project for me.

this one is so overvalued. how can someone really value it more than dash?

In my opinion most of the cryptocurrency market is overvalued, it is something like contemporary gold rush or Dutch tulip exchange. But it is certainly not valued more than Dash (678M vs 118M according to coinmarketcap.com). Don't let decimal places fool you, they are arbitrary.

there is definitely a bubble with cryptocurrency market but that isnt necessarily a bad thing. sometimes bubbles help get the ball rolling for projects by attracting users with hype. definitely not a bad thing for bitcoin.

bitcoin has a cap of 21million which makes 21 a special number to bitcoin owners. There may be some connections to black jack but I feel like it is just a random number.

Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022?
by

Bitcoin is gaining popularity day by day and many more people are showing their interest in investing their money in bitcoins but its really hard to believe that almost everyone will start using bitcoins in next 5 years as bitcoin has not reached everywhere yet and it will take long time that everyone starts using bitcoins.
Yes that is right, 5 years is not enough for bitcoin to get a lot of users and almost everyone for using bitcoin because 5 years is not enough and there is still a lot of people who don't use bitcoin or even don't have idea about bitcoin, i think it will take at least 10 years for bitcoin to reach all people around the world because it is not that easy as we think.

It will atleast take a couple decades for people to actually adopt bitcoin as a payment method and for governments to approve of it. Right now, it has taken 10 years since bitcoin's inception for a major government to approve of bitcoin (Japan). 5 years is definitely not enough time for bitcoin to reach all people around the world.

Some with small blockchain sync finish fast, some slower, some take days

Lets say if i connect to 3 nodes, and 4 nodes

Does the sync speed makes different?

Thanks
Not really, but you should use a fast or light wallet instead of full chain for speed.

Compare to bittrex

I prefer to use bittrex, although polo has better graphs, feature but

Poloniex has one major issue which is it the site always freeze, i cannot let it run on tab if i don't need it, it will just freeze there.

Any solution for this?

Thanks
About the same, but Polo is better for more volume and Bittrex is okay with volume. But their coins are different too, so that is also a factor in choice.

Re: Prediction - $1500 in 30 days - What do you think?
by
187undercover
on 03/05/2017, 21:10:23 UTC
I have seen a lot of news over the past 6 months, since BTC sold for around 600 dollars.
One thing that seems to have stood out in the news is the relentless positive attitude surrounding Bitcoin.
The price continues to thrive and big business wants a piece of the action.
Words such as 'decentralized' and 'blockchain' have become so common in start-up's and established business.
In a world where where we used to have emoji's we now have guides on emoji grammar. The online world is changing.  Shocked
I cant tell you all that I have any more knowledge than the average Bitcoin Miner.

So fro 600 to 1300 dollars in 6 months, My prediction is for BTC to hit $1500 in 30 days. That's my logic!

If it doesn't, I you have my word that I will not try to predict the future again, now where did I put my crystal ball....

Well, BTC is officially higher than $1500 now. When is $2000? Cheesy

I agree the price will soon reach the $1700 don't even need to wait for the end of the month, maybe the problem is whether prices will continue to rise? I'm not sure because after reaching the $1700 will drop again.
$1700 isn't too different from the current price, so it doesn't even matter that much. $2000 seems like a real milestone though.

Re: How many coins are really lost forever?
by
187undercover
on 03/05/2017, 09:13:13 UTC
Basically everybody is happy with the $23.5 Billion USD market cap of Bitcoin. However this really isn't accurate.

Currently there are 16,307,800 BTC in circulation however since BTC had no value for the first 2 years. Many of the CPU mined coins back in those days are most likely gone when the user just formatted their drive or threw their computer away.

There is also this BTC account here: 1FeexV6bAHb8ybZjqQMjJrcCrHGW9sb6uF

Currently it has 80K BTC coins worth over $115 million however the first deposit was on March 2011, and never any withdraws. My guess is their computer crashed or something because who wouldn't withdraw a little from a 10000% gain.

There are articles like this
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=994852.0
and
https://letstalkbitcoin.com/blog/post/rise-of-the-zombie-bitcoins

Which states that massive amounts of coins from 2009+2010 were never spent (up till block 348050).

So there are at least 2,000,000 BTC which are lost forever so the market cap really should be  ~$20 Billion USD OR if you assume that the lost BTC is better because there is less supply then BTC real value should be ~12.2% higher so marketcap of $26.3 Billion USD with a price of $1626 USD per coin.

Unless some of those coins get recovered, which there are some projects to find lost wallet's keys.

OP, if this move is indeed because of FOMO then holding Bitcoin now is like a game of who will blink first because the opposite will also be true. Once panic starts sinking in the market be careful.
For every action, there is a reaction. Yup, there may be a huge drop after this big run is over!

Re: BTC ETF SEC APPROVED on MAY 15th
by

Bitcoin is getting reconsidered once again do you think its going to get approved or denied? Approval does it mean BTC rockets up ? Denial does it mean it takes a dump like in March? May 15th is the last day of approval.
Probably another denial, because the SEC doesn't like Bitcoin due to risk.  Why would they want to approve something even remotely risky? It doesn't make them money.

Are there any altcoin traders who actually make money on the long run?
How much do you make in a month (in percentage)?
What are your strategies, e.g. how do you know an altcoin is worth investing in?

Share your secrets, we are all bros here  Cool
I only make big trades on good cryptos. The random ones are very bad to buy into and out of, because you can't make very much. ETH is a very good one (was at least) when it was cheaper.

Re: Chart Scanner for Alts and BTC
by
187undercover
on 28/04/2017, 08:32:36 UTC
Been googling a little but cannot seem to come up with any decent chart scanners for Alts or even BTC.
You know, the scanners like ezytrader, multicharts etc that stocks use.

I see Coinigy has one in progress but no release date (2017?)
TradingView has scripts that can be run and alert when conditions are met, but doesn't support a lot of Alts and is restricted in the amount of pairs to scan.

There are a few scanners that do back testing on an individual pair but not many that continuously scan all markets and then alert when certain conditions are met in real time.

What do you guys use to find positions?

Coinmarketcap is good for filtering out the high and low volume coins, which are the ones that make big moves. Twitter is good too for crypto altcoin news.
