You are correct, it will survive through investor. Also, the believers in crypto currency. There are new crypto but still the most trusted is bitcoin.

I haven't any coins brought me a massive losses because I always monitored my coins, specially the movement of its pricing. Also, before I invest in any coins, I read first its strength, position in the market and how much time will return my investment. These are the factor I consider before investment so that I don't have any losses in investment.

if the bitcoin and altcoin decrease, we should just hold our coins. Some investor, use the opportunity to buy again coins. Some investor, sell their coins then when the time of increasing of price they buy again coins.
