Thank you for your insightful question and interest in our CoolTank 10KW project. I appreciate your expert observations on the choice of two-phase immersion cooling for small-scale miners. Let me provide some context and additional information.

Extensive Experience: I've worked extensively as a consultant for building single-phase immersion cooling mining farms in UAE. During this time, I've gained a wealth of knowledge and insights into the complexities and cost-effectiveness of different cooling techniques.

CAPEX vs OPEX: With my experience in building single-phase immersion cooling farms, I've observed a consistent pattern: while single-phase immersion cooling usually has a lower initial capital expenditure (CAPEX), the operational expenditure (OPEX) tends to be higher over the long run. Given this trade-off, we've chosen two-phase immersion cooling for the CoolTank 10KW, as it provides higher efficiency and, over time, can lead to cost savings.

Pricing Details: I agree that pricing is a critical aspect of any product. While we are still fine-tuning the production process for the CoolTank 10KW, we're planning to share the target selling price as we progress further in the product's development. Your patience and understanding on this matter are appreciated.

Future Development Plans: We are mindful of the needs of various segments within our target market. With that in mind, we're considering the development of both standard and simplified versions of CoolTank. The simplified model will not include busbars but will provide cable management. Also, it will come without a smart controller, instead having a float sensor. This model will not include pumps and a dry cooler; however, specifications will be made available so that customers can source these components on their own if needed.
Once again, I appreciate your interest in our project and your insightful comments. Your understanding of the industry certainly raises valuable points, and I hope my response addresses your concerns effectively.

CoolTank Project: Let's Revolutionize Small-Scale Mining Together

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share something I've been working on that I think could be really interesting to this community. It's called the CoolTank Project, and it's all about making crypto mining more efficient and accessible, especially for small-scale miners.

The project started back in 2019 in Dubai, where we were trying to solve overheating problems in air-cooled mining farms. After a lot of research, we decided to use 2-phase immersion cooling technology. Read Our Story. https://www.thecooltank.com/about

We've developed the CoolTank 75KW and a smaller CoolTank 10KW, designed for home use and exhibitions. These aren't just efficient; they're designed to boost mining profits, extend the lifespan of your miners, and work well even in extreme conditions. Learn More https://www.thecooltank.com/case-studies

Recently, we held a crowdfunding event to help fund the development of these products. I'm excited to say that the CoolTank 10KW was fully funded by a single contributor! This means we're now in the development and construction phase. https://www.thecooltank.com/crowdfunding

I'd love to share updates about the project here, if that's okay with the moderators. I think it could be a great way to keep everyone in the loop and get your feedback and ideas. After all, this project is about developing something that's useful for all of us in this community.

I've seen many posts here about how to start mining on a small scale, and I genuinely believe the CoolTank could be a game-changer. I'd love to hear your thoughts, and if anyone wants to get involved or offer help, that would be amazing.

Just to be clear, this isn't an advertisement. I'm sharing this because I believe it's interesting and relevant to this community. I'm looking forward to hearing what you all think!

Hope you are ready for this, I see you are newbie but know that it's very costly to have an immersion cooling system installed, I prefer the natural air from mother nature, all you have to do is find the perfect spot in your home, or garage, I believe garage are better with well-opened ventilation, you will save more money using well-ventilated location.

Unfortunately I can't add pictures to u message here. I created a blog post on my website to answer your message. https://www.thecooltank.com/post/ntroducing-advanced-cooling-technologies-for-cryptocurrency-mining-in-the-uae

The main idea is immersion cooling is for long term mining. You'll squeeze maximum from every new model of miner and be ahead of competitors. Economy of scale is also is very useful. I am working on small CoolTank for home use.

Thank you for your insights. Natural air cooling and well-ventilated locations can indeed be cost-effective solutions for small-scale or home-based mining operations. However, when it comes to larger-scale operations, especially in hot climates, air cooling can become less efficient and more challenging.

I have extensive experience running a mining farm in Dubai, where temperatures can reach up to 50 degrees Celsius in the summer. In such conditions, air cooling is not sufficient to prevent overheating, and the cost of air conditioning can be prohibitively high.

That's why I developed the CoolTank, a 2-phase immersion cooling system specifically designed for these challenging environments. It allows for a 40% overclock, significantly boosting mining profitability, and it's adaptable to a wide range of environments.

While the initial setup cost for an immersion cooling system can be higher than for an air-cooled system, the increased mining output and the savings on cooling costs can make it a worthwhile investment in the long run.

aiming to boost mining profitability and efficiency by allowing a 40% overclock.
Over clocking does NOT increase efficiency! Running miners faster actually decreases the THs/J figure. The only way to improve THs/J is to decrease speed and lower the Vcore applied to the chips. That is just the nature of these beasts. That said, the vastly improved cooling certainly does allow for running them faster but at the cost of efficiency.

Thank you for your input, NotFuzzyWarm. You're absolutely right that overclocking doesn't increase the THs/J efficiency. However, in the rapidly evolving world of cryptocurrency mining, the lifespan of a miner is typically 2-3 years before newer, more efficient models hit the market.

In this context, the goal of many miners isn't necessarily to maximize THs/J efficiency, but rather to maximize the total output (THs) of their miners within their effective lifespan. This is where our CoolTank technology comes into play. By allowing a 40% overclock, we enable miners to significantly boost their total output, thereby increasing their mining profitability before their miners become outdated.

Of course, this approach may not be suitable for everyone, and it's always important for each miner to consider their own specific circumstances and objectives. But for those looking to maximize their short-term returns, our CoolTank technology offers a compelling solution.

This looks to be ideal for the home miner with use in someone's garage or basement.

Not to sure I would put this in the living room however.

Wish that my residential power was cheaper, I'd be a buyer if it was!

I checked all links. No one can provide detailed 3D models. Only external dimensions, however I need dimensions of each component.

I’m still looking for scrap Antminer S19 and Whatsminer M30.

Thanks mate. Interesting resource, but they have only obsolete Antminer S9 and no warranty of accuracy.
I’m still looking for parts to make my own 3D model.

Hi all!

I’m looking for scrap (not working) Antminer S19 or Whatsminer M20/30 parts: hashing board, control board and PSU.

I need all this to make 3D models. I’m doing an engineering of CoolTanks.

Can anyone sell/donate required parts?
