Rome wasn't built in a day, and Bitcoin won't take off to the moon right now. It will take a lot of improvement, a lot of new technology and a lot of hard work.

The people who buy in rallies and sell during bear markets and then don't believe in bitcoin anymore are clowns. If the price went to 25k in the next few months I guarantee it that the community will double maybe even quadruple in just a few days.

And then if it dropped back to 15k, suddenly most of these people will disappear again. They won't believe in bitrcoin and they will not care.

If you don't want your money to be created by bankers and the government at their whim the actual price of bitcoin is secondary. Bitcoin is a central part of the puzzle when it comes to the people getting back their sovereignty.

Although I agree with some of what you said, I wouldn't call people selling in bear markets 'clowns.'

I have a solid belief in Bitcoin since 2016 and Im certain that BTC is definitely here to stay and play a big part in the global economy.

Nonetheless, I got out of BTC when it hit $20k, and came back to trading crypto in early 2019.
Its not a matter of having beliefs, but its a matter of protecting one's assets and making smart financial decisions.
I love BTC, but if I think I am gonna lose a lot of money by being in it, I will get out of it any day. My love for it won't change tho.

Faucets - Do people still use it, and are they worthwhile?

Hi,

I know crypto faucets have been around for a long time, but I never bothered to try any of them.

I recently noticed that some faucets still attract so much traffic, and it really got me curious whether using faucets daily is actually worth your time.

Please share your opinions about them, and your experience with them if you actually used it for some time.

Thanks in advance.

I am actually surprised to see that most of you never heard of Copay wallet. Its been around for a long time.

I don't know if you ever heard of Bitpay wallet, but Copay is part of their project.
Copay wallet is their pure 'wallet' with no functionality other than sending, receiving, and storing Bitcoin.
While Bitpay wallet has other functionalities integrated to it.

And thank you all for great suggestions/opinions, I am actually surprised to see so many people using the Coinbase wallet tho.

It says no registration required, but they send us to a random wallet and ask us to create an account there. Something doesn't look good for me.
Does anyone have a true experience making money on this site? I'm not in the mod to risk my money just to test them.
I have been playing for few days. Made about 1 bsv so far  Cool
Money Button is online private wallet, just like Metamask, but for BSV.
The wallet is integrated into this casino so you can bet and receive payouts straight from your private wallet. Hence the logo no deposit, instant payout.
Im personally enjoying it so far, its quite convenient not having to deal with registering, deposits, etc.
Did your transaction run smoothly while playing? because how many times I play continue to experience transaction limits so that it is disturbing my playing situation, this should be fixed immediately so that players feel comfortable when playing
I had the same experience as well.
The issue is called speed limit and they have a guide to lower the chances of having those issues here: https://blog.peergame.com/2020/07/16/raising-the-speed-limit-of-unconfirmed-transactions/
Does here solve the problem, so we can play smoothly? I very often experience transaction limits, so I feel very upset and stop playing because of this problem, as well as this should be fixed because it is related to the convenience of platform users

I think they cannot fix it themselves, as speed limit is caused by a current scaling limitation in the Bitcoin SV node software.
After I used the tool mentioned in the article above to split my funds twice, I did not have any speed limit issues so far. Hope it works out.

Best Bitcoin Wallet?
by

on 24/07/2020, 02:05:11 UTC
I have been using Copay as my main BTC wallet for about 5 years now.
I never thought about changing to a different wallet, because I never had a problem with it.
But out of no where, I got curious about which wallet other people are using.

What do you think is the best wallet out there for BTC? (Other than cold hardware wallets like Ledger)

How did you meet Bitcoin? When did you get in?
by
3227jw
on 22/07/2020, 15:52:44 UTC
Just wanted hear other people's stories, and share my own memories.

I found out about the existence of Bitcoin in late 2015 from a friend. He was an econ major and his professor talked about it in class one day.
A week after finding out about it, I was bored in class and started to do some research about it, read the white paper, and immediately thought something was definitely there.
So before the end of 2015, I used localbitcoins to buy some, can't remember exactly but it was around $200 per BTC.
And ever since, I have been a cryptocurrency enthusiast. Who would't be, when it brings that much fortune  Cool

So what is your story?
How and when did you find out about Bitcoin and when did you actually get in?

I hear what you are saying, and I certainly do agree with you.

But we all know, at the bottom of our hearts, we will always care about the price. Even you. Everyone wants to make money and no one wants to lose money.
And it is because of this irresistible human nature shaped by the capitalist society, prices of coins are always going to be the headliner. Unfortunately, this cannot be changed.

Re: What is your opinion on Crypto.com's Earn and Binance's Savings?

Do you personally have experience using Gunbot?
I do and I continuously use it in Binance futures. If you are interested I could help you with setting it up and support. Let me know.

Thanks, I will be doing some research over the weekend then PM you if I go through with using the bot.

What do you think of these two options for making extra profit?
Do you think they are worthwhile?
And do you know any other safe options I can try out?

Both Binance savings and Crypto.com earn are promising programs. I have only tried out Binance savings. It was for a short term period but I was satisfied with the rewards. It was better than leaving my assets idle. From what I know, Crypto.com programs is good too. You should give it a  try. If you're still unsure, test the waters with a small amount and see how it goes.

I am already using both, and I am satisfied with the result so far.
But like what most people are saying, I am always worried about the risks involved with leaving my funds on these exchanges.
So just wanted to hear out different opinions about using these programs.

Thank you all for your kind answers, all of them were really helpful Smiley

Although I am not a terrible day-trader, I am pretty much occupied with work, family and friends, and other hobbies, stock trading, etc.
So I tend not to do too much day trading.
You could pretty much utilize the investments that you have in crypto trading with a crypto trading bot like Gunbot

Hey crwth, thank you for your opinion.
Do you personally have experience using Gunbot?
I just checked it out, and it looks legit.
I have been thinking about using a trading bot for awhile now, but never really got myself interested enough to find the right one for me.

Although I am not a terrible day-trader, I am pretty much occupied with work, family and friends, and other hobbies, stock trading, etc.
So I tend not to do too much day trading.

I do have a good amount of crypto holdings since 2015 tho, and unfortunately, they have been just sitting there for the most part.
Since 2 years ago or so, I used loan on Poloniex to earn extra coins, and now I am currently using Crypto.com's Earn and Binance's Savings / Staking to make some profits.
Although I am pretty confident that Binance is a safe place to keep my coins, since it is highly reputable and am aware that they have insurance for users' assets,
I am not too sure about Crypto.com. I have researched, of course, but I have never gotten a definite answer that it is safe, as there are answers from both sides.
So even though Crypto.com offers more percent return, I am reluctant to deposit more because of my doubts in security.

Is there anyone that uses Crypto.com who can confirm that it is indeed as safe as Binance?
What do you think of these two options for making extra profit?
Do you think they are worthwhile?

Re: How safe is Tether.to/USDT?
by
3227jw
on 21/07/2020, 06:36:35 UTC
I have very mixed feelings about USDT.

I personally use it sometimes when trading, but I dont think its safe at all.
Back when USDT started, it posted all the documented proof of their cash holdings from banks to prove that they have enough dollars to back up every USDT tokens.
But after couple of months or so, if I remember correctly, they stopped posting these proofs and just began to massively produce more and more USDT.

This is one of the biggest reasons for the 2017 pump, and now USDT is no where near backed up by their USD holdings.

I do agree, however, that it is indeed the most popular stable coin, and thats gotta count for something.
So I would use it to do day tradings or dodging a big dump, but I would never hold them nor stake them for mid to long term.

Hi,

I started playing in crypto casinos for a couple months now, and I just became curious about where all the expert crypto gamblers usually get your news and info.

I mainly use Best Bitcoin Casino, Crypto Gambling News, and of course here,
but are there any other sites that you guys recommend?

There's a new one which had been recently introduced.. https://www.btcgosu.com/
Ann thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5262141.0

This is much better compared to others that had already existed.

The site looks good, thank you for sharing milewilda!
