Just mined this coin for 12 hours with one of mine S9's and the rewad 5 coins only???
According to mining calculators I should be making about 20 coins a day, but why so little?

I was using Ispace pool. Does anyone reccomend any other better maybe?

Very excited about this project and want to contribute but if the mining will be like this I am going back to BTC/BCC mining instead...

I have same problem and need better pool Huh

I've been mining on   unit.thecoin.pw   and get about 1 UNIT/hour with my single S9

Hi guys need some help on that pool.
We have a few antminers running on the pool but one disconnects once in a while. We are not sure why
we have 4 x s7 and 1 s9 on it.
The s7 are in variable stratum and s9 on a fixed one. the s7's are the one disconnecting. Would it help if we just put them on on stratum difficulty instead of the variable one?
thank you
I will recommend unit.thecoin.pw  any day over ispace. Do not trust ispace at all. They have shitty system to pay and I have compared over the months that the hash-rate they show you have is higher than thecoin.pw on same equipment but rewards are half of that. I use to mine on thecoin.pw with my S3 and in October I was getting around 1000 + Unit per day on thecoin.pw but not even 100 on ispace.
I stopped mining in December and Sold my coins quite early as I was not into hodling being a beginner at the time.

Hello
I am using unit.thecoin.pw
Problem is that antminer is stopping to hash. Difficulty is set to variable. I was wondering if that could be the reason. If I just put a certain difficulty and the antminer doesn't have to switch, do you think that would help from them disconnecting and not hashing.
When that happens , if I turn antminer off and then on, it connects again

thank you

As a service to the community, I took a snapshot of the Universal blockchain this morning and uploaded it to Google Drive (you will have to ignore the "whoops" message and click download). Stop universal-qt, put the contents of the 7z file into your %appdata%\universalcurrency folder, and restart it. Should get you to the morning of 1/26/18, around 10 AM. Cuts the 58 hours of CPU time down to about 30 seconds.

Question concerning the wallet

I saw in settings-options there is a spot for optional transaction fees that helps to make sure that transaction are proccessed quickly.
By default it's at 0. but it says that recommended if 5.
What do you guys think here?
Does leaving 0 will make the transaction impossible to do and but the UNIT in danger to be lost in the space or the transaction to take days?
on the other end, is 5 too much?
What do you recommend?

cheers

Hello! Where did you download this blockchain?

I posted earliear about this...basically downloaded the blk0001.dat file from the first post of this thread, then let the wallet sync for 56 hours or so. Once synced, I just compressed the files from %APPDATA%\UniversalCurrency.

Thank you so much, after hours and hours and hours and hours it did cut the time to like 30 min ( did it yesterday so had 2 days only to since
