The point is that there might still be a reason to attack the coin even if there is no block reward.
Just to sabotage a project ! To hurt me, to cause harm to me and my work.
To prevent the coin from just working and fulfilling its purpose since someone does not like my project
or simply likes to annoy other people for fun.

So the question is, if the coin is vulnerable / attackable in any way.
Not if there is a reason to do that or not.

I opened up an account on GitHub, installed the app but I am not able to upload my source there.
I am no coder and do not understand the stuff there, I am sorry.
If anyone else might do that for me, I would appreciate it.

I asked a coder who offers his services here in this board to create a coin for me:
SHA256, 100% premined, 1kk coins, no POS.

The coins have been premined, wallets are running and mining on 2 VPS (Linux + Windows on Hostamus).

I have bigger plans with this coin and before I will do anything I want to be 100% sure that this coin
is safer than safe, absolutley safe. No attack of any kind should ever be possible.

I remembered the 51% problem and some people told me that this coin is vulnerable because of that.
Anyone could get the mining majority easily and therefore manipulate the blockchain.

The coder of this coin, who is a nice guy, tells me that the coin is safe and no attack will ever be possible.
He says that since all coins have been premined and there is no block reward the 51% does not exist.
He even ensured me that he himself would see no way to attack the coin in any way, for example to prevent
the transactions to be confirmed. I am a dummy and I really do not know if I can trust him. He was kind to me
and did what I payed him for but I don´t know him, he could be anyone.

So please, please: Could you as a Pro, Coin Coder, Specialist take a look at the source and give your statement to
the safety of this cryptocoin ? I would really appreciate your help and would reward you in case the coin will be
released publicly to its special purpose and be a success.

Is not needed means not possible anymore ?
Because if it´s possible a 51% attack would still be possible.

There are many other CryptoCurrencies that will finish coin generation soon.... How will they be able to work then if they are that vulnerable ?

But if the majority will stop mining and miner hardware will get very cheap it should be extremely easy to get control over 51% mining power then ?

I wonder what will happen when all Bitcoins have been mined.

If people get no more Bitcoins for mining why should they do it ?

And if just a few people mine, it will be easy to exceed the mining power to 51%+ ...

Basis: Die Erstellung von Buy/Sell Orders und Instasell/-buy.
Der Market soll außerdem auf Wunsch Buys und Sells annehmen, ausführen und mit eingetauschen Coins auf Wunsch automatisch neue Orders generieren.
Konkretes Beispiel: Ich setze einen Sell-Order für alle Altcoins in meinem Wallet. Gleichzeitig setze ich einen Buy-Order für Altcoins.
Alle BTC Einnahmen aus dem Altcoin Verkauf sollen direkt in den Buy Order fließen,
alle Altcoin Einnahmen aus dem Buy Order sollen wiederum direkt in den Sell-Order fließen.
Anders gesagt: Alle Altcoins sollen ständig zum Verkauf stehen, auch solche, die neu durch Order hinzu kommen.

Das Ganze sollte natürlich sicher sein. Bombensicher. Mir wäre es am liebsten, wenn das über meinen
eigenen Rechner läuft. Es sollte aber kinderleicht zu installieren sein. Eine narrensichere Lösung.

I generated a coin and want to use my KNJ Jupiter to mine.

I edited the coin.conf file to:

rpcuser=testcoin
rpcpassword=testpass
addnode=54.194.99.126
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcallowip=Miner IP
rpcport=9902
daemon=1
server=1
listen=1
gen=0

In cgminer settings of KNC Jupiter I set:
Pool: PC IP:9902
user= rpcuser
pass= rpcpassword

Save + restart miner = Connect to Miner API failed

What did I miss ? Sorry, I am a dummy.

What exactly does it mean ? Is it the trade volume or the book order volume ?

LTC seems to have nearly 50 Million $ while BTC just ca. 10 Million $ of that AGG Trading Volume.
I am confused. Does it mean, LTC is traded 5 times as much as BTC ?
And what is the cause ? What is happening with all the Litecoins ?
Is this just speculation ? How can one find out how many coins of a currency are spent for goods and services ?

As far as I understood there have to be 2 addresses for each transaction.
On for the sender and one for the recipient... is this right ?  

I wonder because when I take a look at the transactions there is just a single address for each transaction.
If I send BTC the recipients address, if I get BTC (one of) my own addresses.

So where can I see the other address ?

When I send BTC to an address, what will my address be for the recipient ?

Von einer Anarchie sind wir offenkundig weit entfernt.

Sicher - vielen hier geht es vor allem um den Profit, das mühelose Einkommen.
Doch der Bitcoin wurzelt nicht in Gier sondern einer Idee, die etwas hervorbringen sollte, das den Menschen nützlich ist
und die Welt verbessert. So ist es auch mit verschiedenen anderen Cryptowährungen.

Wenn nicht hier, wo sollte man dann über die politischen, gesellschaftlichen, volkswirtschaftlichen u.s.w. Dinge in Zusammenhang
mit Cryptowährungen sprechen ? Ich erwarte ja nichts. Soll der Thread doch untergehen, was macht das schon ?

Interessant in jedem Falle.
Man könnte nun auch auf jeden einzelnen Punkt eingehen.
Was sicherlich in eine endlose Diskussion führen könnte.

Aber: Darum geht es hier ja nicht.
Und es ist fraglich, ob eine solche Diskussion nüchtern geführt werden kann.
Ob sie hilfreich sein kann.

Jedenfalls, Du meinst, eine solche Währung wäre prinzipiell zu verwerfen.
Weil die Menschen noch nicht bereit sind. Aufgrund ihrer menschlichen Schwächen.

Ich denke, das stimmt prinzipiell. Es hängt eben davon ab, wie diese Währung funktioniert.
Es ließen sich ja alle möglichen Schutzmechanismen einbauen. Sogar eine Manipulation im demokratischen Sinne wäre denkbar.
Abstimmungen, Wahlen ließen sich über so eine Währung sicher durchführen.

Mein Gedanke war vor allem, dass diese Währung der Forschung dient.
Der Entwicklung einer perfekten Währung. Eines perfekten Geldsystems.
Sie sollte so lange neben dem bestehenden System existieren, bis sie ihren Zweck
erfüllt hat, nämlich herauszufinden, was mit dem Geld geschieht und wie man es im Sinne der Stabilität,
der optimalen Verteilung und der Anregung aller Teile der Gesellschaft regulieren kann.

Erst dann wäre sie bereit, die bestehenden Währungen zu ersetzen.
Entscheidend dabei ist ja nur, sie im Kern so zu konzipieren, dass es am Ende auf einen echten Ersatz hinausläuft.

Staaten, Regierungen müssen (letztendlich) irgendwie daran beteiligt sein.
Es muss ein Platz für sie geschaffen werden.
Angenommen, Bitcoin wird die neue Weltwährung und niemand kann sie kontrollieren.
Was würde das bedeuten ? Wäre das gut ? Ich denke nicht.
Denn wenn jeder nur noch an sich denkt, ist die Anarchie nicht fern. Anarchie ist aber
Chaos und Chaos ist dem Wohlstand unzuträglich.

Es gibt vielleicht unendliche viele Baustellen auf diesem Planeten.
Aber ganz gewiss ist das Geld eine der wirklich wichtigen Baustellen.
Ein neues Geldsystem zu entwickeln würde die Probleme der Menschheit sicherlich nicht lösen.
Aber die Welt würde dadurch ein wenig besser werden. Und damit auch bessere Bedingungen geschaffen.

Außerdem. Was die Machbarkeit betrifft, sieht es bei Deinen Forderungen sehr schlecht aus.
Wie will man so etwas durchsetzen ? Da muss schon einiges passieren, wenn da auch nur
ansatzweise etwas real werden soll. Das kann lange dauern.

Aber eine Cryptowährung zu entwickeln ist eine greifbare Sache.
Bereits ein kleines Team von 5-10 fähigen Leuten könnte eine solche Währung
mit geringen finanziellen Mitteln in kurzer Zeit entwickeln und bis zu einem gewissen
Grad erfolgreich positionieren. Vielleicht würden 1 Million Euro und 2-3 Jahre ausreichen.
Das ist zumindest theoretisch machbar. Wenn auch nicht für mich oder Dich.
