Yep! As I had in mind a few years ago that if a project does not have strong fundamentals it will collapse, especially if the project is managed just for hype. Maybe it will be safer when the money is invested in some popular coins, but the decision is up to each of you.
I use a stable Tether USDT coin in exchange for Digifinex. But only for simple and frequent exchanges. I have a strategy and last a long time, when using USDT. When I'm not trading, or on vacation for a long time all my assets are exchanged with USDT. To stay stable when I return to trading.

What do you mean whisper? Manipulation on volumes, prices are being done by exchanges. There's no questioning for that. They are actually paying some sites to fake the volume of their coin for investors to invest on their platform such as CMC. Also, I would like to add the manipulation of whales. Whales are very dangerous in cryptocurrency. Many new investors fell into whales trap. I don't know how it works but this includes manipulation of prices.

There has been several cases of price manipulation as well as volume manipulation by exchanges. Sometimes they even co-operate with coin pumpers and hold the deposit of coin which is being pumped. If you just see prices of coins in coinmarketcap in exchanges sections, some exchanges mostly have an insane price for the same thing.

Since bitcoin has experienced a bullish trend lately, actually Litecoin has followed it. Please see the entire altcoin chart, I think Litecoin has shown something different from some other altcoins. It looks like altcoin is indeed unhealthy in its growth, when bitcoin rises up very quickly. Besides Litecoin, I chose Bitcoin Cash and ethereum which still had a chance. Don't choose an altcoin that you didn't know before (not in your analysis), it can make a drastic loss. Thank you.

I have never thought that far before, because bitcoin is always synonymous with satoshi nakamoto and Ethereum with Vitalik buterin. For now I just imagine if ethereum the price is not much different from bitcoin. Of course it will look interesting, meaning that there is a fairly tight competition.
