anybody know about Block reward and the new platform "DOPECOIN Gold" have a Smart Contract or MultiSig? I am so interest about thís coin, but I want to understand more clearly about that
The block reward is POS. 30 DOPE per block, target 90 seconds.
As far as Smart Contracts, from what I've gathered from this thread and Slack the devs are in the process of upgrading the wallet to Blackcoin Lore which provides a framework for integration of Smart Contracts. ETA is unknown. This is supposed to be immediately followed by development of a new Android wallet which has been stalled because Lore update would break it. From what I understand a new roadmap is currently being organized and will hopefully be available soon. Join us at dopecoin.slack.com to learn more.

BLACKCOIN, HQ May 23, 2017 Blackcoin announces the release date of their much-anticipated software update via their official Twitter channel @Coinblack. The update will incorporate Blackcoin's own open source code development with Bitcoin core technology including key components from Bitcoin Core version 0.12. Making Blackcoin Lore the first proof of stake [POS] digital currency to implement such technology and is expected to improve the overall performance of Blackcoin in a variety of ways.
One key historic use case for Blackcoin is its fast transfer and verification speeds. With Lore these speeds improve, reducing verification times by 50% and up to a maximum of 5x faster than the previous version under certain conditions. Of late, wallet synchronization times have ballooned from several hours to up to a day or more. The update will address this inconvenience by markedly reducing blockchain synchronization time which is hoped to greatly improve user adoption. POS 2.0, previously at the core of Blackcoins technology, has been completely renovated and replaced by Blackcoin POS. Advancements in security, stability and the elimination of bugs such as heartbleed are all key components to this update.
Perhaps most intriguingly, the update creates an opportunity for Blackcoin to build a platform for smart contracts on the Blackcoin blockchain; an idea that has tantalized the developers of Blackcoin for years. As the first Proof of Stake cryptocurrency to adopt Bitcoin Core 0.12, Blackcoin is now compatible with many important blockchain innovations and has the potential to benefit from things like Joinmarket and Blockstack; both of which play a role in our long-term roadmap" said Blackcoin, software engineer, Jan Junno [Janko33]. When asked about what this update means for Blackcoin, developer, Josh Bouw stated that broadly This development helps Blackcoin shed its past identity and shows that it is not just competitive, but a market leader in Proof of Stake technology. You are dreaming man, a reverse stock split or consolidations don't evaporate your holdings, common, that is weak. Your broker is still going to hold those shares in your name, And a business failure is not what we are talking about here ; I own a shit tonne of Laidlaw which is absolutely worthless, but its still mine. I still own the token which represents its value (in this case stock certificates). Although with this management I can totally see Dope collapsing in the near future. I invested in all the weed coins and was there right at the beginning of all these coins so I know all the dirty little secrets. It was always a long shot investing in an abandoned coin anyway. same as the others, how many did you guys take over Dope, THC and STV? That was your group right? Looks like someone or a group of someones loaded their boat under the radar early on Sunday morning.
This has been occurring sporadically over the last 4-6 weeks. Random spike in volume one day and then dies back down. Looks to be orchestrated accumulation but no way to really tell.

This isn't uncommon really. Pretty much all the weed based coins have this happened to them.
I absolutely counted on it. The "4/20 pump" is always BEFORE 4/20. 4/20 is the dump day.
Doesn't matter. The churn that we are seeing is absolutely healthy because it's slow and steady. Dope won't dive too far before it regroups and breaks all time highs so buy accordingly.
Lots of exciting developments. You guys are doing a great job. Nice seeing the daily volume increase 10x over the course of a month.
Considering all the exciting developments recently and those on the horizon what DOPE really needs to take it to the next level at this point is to be listed on more exchanges.

Really exciting the last couple days as we watch 5 - 15x the money that was 10x the money before flow through DOPE on the daily.
It's encouraging to see the healthy churning and steady price range between 450 and 650 satoshi as volume flows through it.
Looks like this is new base camp.
The stability will eventually cause a buying frenzy to commence as the whales who keep circling DOPE get impatient and realize the cheap coins have dried up.
Get ready for 1500+ and some serious volume kids. It's gonna happen... soon.

Certainly now the projected interest rate is greater than the expected 5% and if people are not staking their holdings , even more as has already been shown.
Should POS rewards be adjusted to combat inflation...."that old chestnut".......
It is greater by design. Dopecoin POS3 has a static reward of 30 DOPE per block, which leads to ~5% total annual inflation, but these coins are being distributed only between actively staking nodes. As not all the issued coins participate in minting process, so the reward for each node can be much more than 5% of its balance.Should POS rewards be adjusted to combat inflation...."that old chestnut".......

But not everyone stakes, or does not do so full-time, therefore the stake-minted coins are shared among only a subset of the network: those who participate. Previously you could bank coinage while not staking, and then collect on it during brief periods of staking. That opportunity has been eliminated.
A decreasing reward rate may be considered, it is all open to discussion.
Thanks for helping me straighten out my wallet mess buddy! I have some questions about POS and POS3. I understand that the POS3 staking reward is constant and that it encourages more wallets to be open all the time and staking. Very cool. I'm still fuzzy on exactly how coins are staked and the blocks of coins that are used for staking. It was my understanding that in regular POS each time a block of coins is staked it's divided and that led to problems where wallets became badly fragmented right? Is it the same in POS3? Is there a need from time to time to send all your coins to a new address to make them one whole block again? Also, how is the number of coins that go out on a found block calculated? It seems random from what I've witnessed. Also, is it more efficient to divvy a large sum of coins over multiple wallet addresses to increase the chances of finding a block (this doesn't seem to be the case from what I've observed anecdotally).
My wallet is all fucked up. All of a sudden a couple days ago about 18% of my coins are missing from my wallet. Block Explorer shows my address as having the correct total, they are just "missing" from my wallet total. No outgoing transactions other than staking.
Then, this morning I've got no connections and staking stopped about 6 hours ago. I downloaded the latest 4.0.0.1 wallet update and fired that up. Finds one connection and the wallet gets up to date, then it stakes one block and goes offline. "Not staking because wallet is offline" on mouseover of the mining icon.
