Re: PhoenixMiner 4.9c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux)

Evening all. I think I need some more help with this. I flashed the 1800 straps and it didn't make a difference. The new card came in today and stock runs the same as modded bios.. So does anyone have the correct modded BIOS I can just flash on it to get the 55MH/s? I haven't modded the new card yet but I am thinking my results might be the same at this point..

I've used 1500 straps. Both 5700 and 5700XT got +4 MH/s (57.3). Running absolutely stable.

Do you have a MSI Evoke 5700? It works fine on my MSI Mech 5700, it gets 55MH/s but the Evoke's for some reason don't.
Forgot to mention that i also flashed 5700 to 5700XT.

Has anyone been able to get any further stability at 60mhs with Rx5700's? I haven't tried in a few weeks.

Do you mean 60mh/s with -opencllocalwork setting?

Yes exactly. It was a big deal when first discovered. Wondering if anyone has gotten some stability?
Guess it is useless, these numbers are not real. First time i saw that in ethminer, i can get incredibly high displayed hashrate even with polaris cards, but the real hashrate will be even less than regular.

New version (latest from mega) won't start even with arguments from example: "zil_switcher.exe -m 1 -r miner.bat -a 0xe511b07b68681d4501665De40cf6A734f05da94f". It tells that an int argument parsing failed.

Just updated to v1.0.1. Can you try that?

Can you pm @kidkid1 also
I'm using v1.0.3 now and launch issue solved, thank you.

I've installed 19.9.3 drivers and switched back to PM 4.7b from claymore's miner, now mixed rig is working flawlessly, thank you @PhoenixMiner. BTW claymore's miner consumed 10 watts less and hashrate was just 0.8 MH/s lower for RX 5700.

Any significant improvements?
For me PM always was better, but previous version was unstable with 19.9.1 drivers and with 19.9.2 didn't work at all. Now it looks like stability problem solved, however i see one reboot during last night. Also i've noticed that 5700 card after some time begins to give +2 Mh/s, but after dag switching this speedup is gone and again after some time miner shows +2Mh/s until dag switch.

After updating drivers from 19.9.1 to 19.9.2 miner won't start, claymore works fine.

Check that windows defender isn't blocking the process... that's what happened to me.
Yea, i've read it. But windows defender was always turned off. I'm using 3-rd party AV and firewall, but they didn't do anything, i've tried to turn them off too, but it didn't help. Also no updates were installed, nothing else changed, only new drivers installed after DDU cleanup. Still trying to figure out what is wrong.

Please try the new 3.5b version, which may fix the problem. Here is how to download and verify it: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2647654.msg45442768#msg45442768. If this doesn't help, please send us the log file to see what exactly goes wrong.

3.5a won't start at all, 3.0c working perfectly since release
Original
PhoenixMiner.exe -pool ssl://eu1.ethermine.org:5555 -pool2 ssl://us1.ethermine.org:5555 -wal 0x008c26f3a2Ca8bdC11e5891e0278c9436B6F5d1E.Rig001

Try this
PhoenixMiner.exe -pool ssl://eu1.ethermine.org:5555 -pool2 ssl://us1.ethermine.org:5555 -ewal 0x008c26f3a2Ca8bdC11e5891e0278c9436B6F5d1E.Rig001

Didn't help, config or console parameters, still won't launch.

well I got it to mine in 1709 with 18.3.4 but now the cards are only mining at 17 each vs 30+ with crimson. (compute) is on

Try to add -altinit to config.

Sorry if this is rude to post here in the thread of someone with a devfee miner...

but why do all you people use a devfee miner? I use ethminer 0.15.0rc1 from https://github.com/ethereum-mining/ethminer/releases for a few days which has no devfee at all.

I'm using 6 x 1070s and 2 x 1080 (with OhGodAnETHlargementPill) and 270-280mh/s on Nanopool. That's average of around 32.4mh/s for each 1070 and around 34mh/s for each 1080. Do you do better than that with Claymore or Phoenixminer?
Tried ethminer, claymore and phoenix on 3 mixed amd rigs, getting more shares with phoenix.
