Re: MtGox not sending to dwolla?

I noticed this too. Opened a support ticket last night. They said they see the transaction and that I should expect it to clear in 1 - 3 business days (as in get from mtgox to dwolla).

I've never seen a transfer from mtgox to dwolla take more than a few hours. This is strange.

These 11.7 drivers cause my computer to crash much more often, while merely browsing the internet, not even using embedded video.

I went back to 11.6 and got improved stability relative to the 11.7. That was just my personal experience (win7 with dual 6970s).

...it's so entertaining to watch you fail.

The drug lords are winning by any metric. And I, for one, find it more "entertaining" to watch the government fail.

julz may or may not be trolling, but so what? The link in the OP was good shit. Have you guys read Jesse's post history? She has integrity, intelligence, imagination, honesty, and she really does give a fuck about the success of BitCoin.

I hope she continues to "Kang" the fuck out of these forums, and helps the little boys in here grow the fuck up.

^ White Knight or not people?

Seriously.  I think even Jesse would be like "dude, is the point of your post to insult others and back me up or are you trying to back up back Bitcoin?"

Possibly an account created just for the purpose of serving the King Smiley

LOLOL I didn't even know who Jessy Kang was until I found YOUR BitCoinPorn thread via Reddit, where everyone at /r/bitcoin was laughing at you pwning yourself by brushing off advice like a n00b from someone experienced in that industry.

Proof: Here is the thread at reddit. The guy who submitted it (not me) gave it this title: OP wants to open a porn site with bitcoins but can't take criticism from a porn star offering him valuable advice. ABSOLUTE GOLD!

I like quality posts and people who contribute to forums. She was contributing quite a lot while taking flak for it. Now that I finally saw a thread giving respect to someone who clearly earned it, I had to do a bit of cheerleading.

This ain't the first time I've seen a woman who works in the adult industry prove to be the most intelligent one in the room.

EDIT: be sure to click on that link and read the comments on the Reddit thread. Everyone in there is saying the same thing I'm saying.

Stales went way down on US West with the patch about an hour ago.  Still having a very odd issue where the load balancer is spiking in CPU usage when running a block calculation, which is why you're getting idles.

I'm working on figuring out what about the calculation script is creating the problem.  This is my absolute top priority, because we just got screwed out of blocks (2 invalids in a row) due to the server essentially going offline before it was able to report the blocks on the network.  Same thing happened with the 2 invalids a couple days ago.

Yeah I noticed we had 4 invalids in about 24 hours time. Those two in a row just now scared the shit out of me.

You're doing a great job and are very attentive, all us BTC Guild miners appreciate your hard work!

But a troll is a troll.  This thread is just in the wrong forums and brings back up the great idea of beating this poor dead horse (well, dying "My intention was to bring an issue that appears buried - out into the open a bit").

As if the post on reddit.  Or the thread discussing the post on reddit (on the same page this thread is appearing on), discussing the same things, when it all should be taken to PM to a mod, this isn't a place where the public makes the rules, that is why there are plenty of other Bitcoin forums Smiley

Fail. The porn-site-aspiring guy who got PWNED by someone with real experience in the adult industry is now pointing fingers and shrieking "troll! troll!" every time a positive mention is made of the user who pwned him.

BitCoinPorn just can't seem to get enough of being Kanged. Hah!

Now that the new server is up (good job by the way), should we continue to point to btcguild.com or should we point to a specific server?

Re: DEEPBIT problem?
by
655321
on 07/07/2011, 15:57:58 UTC
I keep on eye on which pools are getting attacked, and just switch to whichever pool is up at the time. For example, today, I noticed DeepBit was down again, but BTCGuild had come back up. So I switched over to BTCGuild. Once BTCGuild gets attacked again, I'll move back to DeepBit or whichever other pool is up at the time.

Annoying as fuck to be sure, but they can't attack all the pools all the time. Just look around to find a functional pool.

More likely a botnet owner was pissed at being banned from a certain pool & his btc being donated to the faucet.

I have heard that this is specifically why the DDoS attacks are occurring.
