What's going on? Why i have that communicates and my GPU isnt mining? Sad Sad Sad

Without knowing more about your rig, its a bit hard to venture a guess. Do you use the EU backup pool?

I mine on R9 270x. I use middlecoin and ypool. Both of them got that same error for 2 days.

1) path to .exe -o http:api.bitcoin.cz:8332 -USERNAME -p PASSWORD
2) cgminer -o http:api.bitcoin.cz:8332 -USERNAME -p PASSWORD
Code:
cgminer.exe -o api.bitcoin.cz:8332 -u USERNAME -p PASSWORD

I've tried that too and it doesn't work. When i try to use guiminer then it's fine but i got ~250Mh/s instead of ~355Mh/s with cgminer :/

Run your own GPU/FPGA/ASIC miner with the worker credentials you gave earlier, and connect it to following URL:

http://api.bitcoin.cz:8332
(Main pool URL)

From my pool. Yesterday it worked just perfect! Should i type full path to .exe or just cgminer.exe at start?

Yesterday i tried cgminer for the first time. It went very smooth but today when i try to run it then it doesn't work
I tried both commands:
1) path to .exe -o http:api.bitcoin.cz:8332 -USERNAME -p PASSWORD
2) cgminer -o http:api.bitcoin.cz:8332 -USERNAME -p PASSWORD

Yesterday one of them (dont remember which) worker correctly. Why it's broken now? I recive error that pool is too low or down but as i see the other people still mine.
As you see im useing https://mining.bitcoin.cz/

Ofc i have newest version of cgminer which i updated today but the older one doesn't work too...

Hello guys! Today i recived my new 5870 and i installed 13.1 drivers but when i try to mine then i programs don't even run! At first i tried latest beta drivers and then i had errors like:
2013-04-04 11:59:43: Listener for "Default": api2.bitcoin.cz:8332 04/04/2013 11:59:43, Verification failed, check hardware! (0:0:Cypress, 37948fec)

What should i do? I use guiminer but even cgminer have that same problem!

I mine BTC in slush's pool

What should i choose 5870+5850 for 260$ without warranty or 7970 for 450$ with 24 months warranty? Do GPUs burn very often when they are mining?

ASIC from BFL are probably a scam so it's waste of money and time. I'm thinking about GPUs becouse they are easy sell if price drop to no profit level. Could someone answer my questions? Smiley

GPU or FPGA on start?

Hello guys!
I'd like to learn something about bitcoins before i invest more money and i have 2 ways to go:
1) FPGA- it consumes less power but it's not as efective as GPU. I can get 200MH/s @ 10W for ~250$
2) 5870+5850 in Xfire. both cost ~260$

Now i have a few questions on start:
1. Is it good to mine on 5870+5850? AMD site says they can be xfired.
2. On what mobo, cpu, memory, disk etc should i focus? Can it be just a random mobo which handle 2 GPU?
3. Can FPGA/GPU run 24/7 or do i have to do a breaks like 30mins every 24 hours or something?
4. How to minimalize power consumption? I pay ~0,18$ per kWh

Thank you for help Smiley

PS
I've read so many articles and topics about it so please dont paste links like https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison Cheesy
