So can you actually still send Animecoins, or is the blockchain dead?
If anyone has any nodes for me, please let me know, I want to get back upto date.

Code:
addnode=144.76.71.141:1212
addnode=173.168.5.106:1212
addnode=77.56.4.217:1212

Wolf0, reboot pool
plz

I'll restart it, but not certain that will help.

Thanks for your input isaevski! But unfortunately it didn't help :-(

(Now I get around 2MH/s. I'm still optimizing my miner, because I'm a noob in these things...)

around 500kH/s

Are you using Stratum or Getwork? I believe one is broken, but if you're getting shares, it shouldn't be a problem...

I use stratum which is broken... but I got many shares which were accepted

@Wolf0: Are you around?

I mined about 1 hour on your p2p pool on 13 July 2015, but didn't get any reward :-/
Do you know what I was doing wrong? (I got accepted shares)
Should I have mined longer than this, to get paid out? (I stopped, because I thought I was just wasting energy)

Thanks in advance for your help.

The pool must find a block for anyone to be paid - with no one else on it, it's like solo mining.

You mean like solo mining without any rewards? That sounds strange to me...
(I thought the accepted shares were found blocks)

No, P2Pool gives you shares like a pool - a block still must be found to get rewards. If you solo mine, any share is a block. If you check the page, there's not been a block found on it for ~5 weeks.

Thanks for your explanation.
But something I don't understand yet is why I get a block every 2sec when I solo mine and never getting a whole block done on your pool?

Yes. I tested the last time on 12. Mai 2015:

Right now, I mine with around 500 KH/s...

Edit: never received the POW coins as I see right now :-/ (see: http://aniexplorer.cloudapp.net/address/Adj2fWWDKevBiYYJGHbKjQcFA4Pc3mNcQf)

So how the coin is doing? Slowly diying or already dead? =)

For me this coin is neither dying nor is it dead!

AnimeCoin is just progressing slowly forward until it unfoldes its unique form.

Thanks, but I'm afraid it doesn't support x86. Ah the good old days when 32-bit was still popular, where did they go?

On another note, me and a friend have started work on an official animecoin webpage which we can host and keep up to date and modify when ever we want. We were wondering if it would be alright for us to host ads on the page, so that we can pay the server costs and the development/upkeep costs from that?

GUI AniMiner for Windows  http://anime.zcoins.org/animiner.zip

Hi DarkWolf

I don't see a problem that you start with some ads on your webpage. You could put some banner on it with mining hardware, lotterys, exchanges, etc.

What think other people about it?

It worked perfectly, but have decided to stop mining ani. I was wondering whether I can run the standard quark algorithm with this miner? (what would the batch look like?)
Thanks for your work 8bitp you've achieved some fantastic results, I'll make sure this compiled miner link is added to the new Animecoin website. Thanks for helping 8bitp to get it compiled Testz. Cheesy

Glad to hear  Cheesy
But why did you stop mining ani? Sad

Thank you too for your efforts with the Animecoin Website!

I don't think you can run another quark algorithm with this miner, because you can only choose between sha265d, scrypt & anime as an algorythm:

Code:
$ ./minerd --help
Usage: minerd [OPTIONS]
Options:
  -a, --algo=ALGO       specify the algorithm to use
                          scrypt    scrypt(1024, 1, 1) (default)
                          sha256d   SHA-256d
                          anime     Animecoin
  -o, --url=URL         URL of mining server (default: http://127.0.0.1:9332/)
  -O, --userpass=U:P    username:password pair for mining server
  -u, --user=USERNAME   username for mining server
  -p, --pass=PASSWORD   password for mining server
      --cert=FILE       certificate for mining server using SSL
  -x, --proxy=[PROTOCOL://]HOST[:PORT]  connect through a proxy
  -t, --threads=N       number of miner threads (default: number of processors)
  -r, --retries=N       number of times to retry if a network call fails
                          (default: retry indefinitely)
  -R, --retry-pause=N   time to pause between retries, in seconds (default: 30)
  -T, --timeout=N       network timeout, in seconds (default: 270)
  -s, --scantime=N      upper bound on time spent scanning current work when
                          long polling is unavailable, in seconds (default: 5)
      --no-longpoll     disable X-Long-Polling support
      --no-stratum      disable X-Stratum support
  -q, --quiet           disable per-thread hashmeter output
  -D, --debug           enable debug output
  -H, --hashdebug       enable hash debug output
  -P, --protocol-dump   verbose dump of protocol-level activities
  -S, --syslog          use system log for output messages
  -B, --background      run the miner in the background
      --benchmark       run in offline benchmark mode
  -c, --config=FILE     load a JSON-format configuration file
  -V, --version         display version information and exit
  -h, --help            display this help text and exit

Hi DarkWolf

I'm very sorry to tell you, that i couldn't manage to compile the CPUMiner on a Windows XP 32Bit with MINGW32 installed Sad

I get always an error at the final "make" Command:
http://pastebin.com/BXCJ16dB

Could someone help me out of this? I think the error lays in the source code...

Just compile miner from https://github.com/Animecointeam/Anime-CPUMiner everything compile without problems. Probably you use gcc 4.8 instead gcc 4.6.
To save the time you can replace your MinGW with my and compile again: https://www.dropbox.com/s/m2bj4t3gyyjkjzh/MinGW.rar

My MinGW has all requared modules like libcurl, etc.

If you want to install MinGW from scratch and compile miner, remove your MinGW and start from this version:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/mingw/files/OldFiles/mingw-get-inst/mingw-get-inst-20120421/

Thank you very much testz!

I reinstalled MinGW and tried the whole compilation process again after adding the file system table ("fstab"-file) with "c:/mingw /mingw".
It was also necessary to add a new User variable in Windows: [Name:Path]-[Value:C:\MinGW\bin;C:\MinGW\msys\1.0\local\bin;C:\MinGW\msys\1.0\bin]
Nevertheless, I finally used the newest mingw-get-setup with the preinstalled gcc 4.8 for the compilation.
-> Conclusion: I really should have read the Getting Started Guide at the beginning and not at the end Cheesy

With this settings I could finally compile the cpu-miner which supports 32Bit Computer from here: https://github.com/Animecointeam/Anime-CPUMiner Cheesy

Download-Link: https://mega.co.nz/#!KV1FFYxJ!gMQlcjdMBrPPscYiTG-E-9NLKMsArAYp-UIQtHyrHY4

@DarkWolf: please tell me if it is working for you, thank you Smiley

BTW:
- there was a redefinition error while doing the "make". I fixed it with this changes in the "cpu-miner.c": https://mega.co.nz/#!zYdzmRrI!ruHzpe0jGqEB5-bMFgJPtS7kE8uYfAUy6ZLp9jGTfEI
- SSL support is leaking, because I was unable to compile the curl-config with it Embarrassed
