The simplest thing Zack should do is relaunch ADT as new a coin with a newly built wallet and block chain. Make the coin number a lot less. So price will increase and allow current ADT holders to swap to the new coin. This crap has been going on long enough. Its a circus and sad to see DEV doesn't even have enough sense to see he's defeated with this issue. For CRYING OUT LOUD. START A NEW FREAKING COIN WITH THE SAME NAME!!! DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I did that its why there is adtv2 it cost me 4btc to get it made ( 4k usd at the time and since them paid over 10btc to people that had proven themselves reliable to make paches to sort it and not a single patch has worked it seams that everyone will do a runner if the money is right
You can get a Coin made for 0.3 BTC now...
If you sit on your hands waiting forever, eventually even Cryptsy will get tired of it and just delist it and then it's worth 0.
try and get a coin done for that little when all devs hate you coz you wont help them with pump and dumps

No, I haven't done anything for ADT and are not planning to do any work on it. I think the best way is to take ownership and figure out what you need/want and why and do the coding yourself.

Why are you focussing on coin swapping when ADT2 still needs to be fixed? You're swapping from a sort of working coin to a broken coin?
Adtv2 works fine there is a few issues but its way better than v1
This is just not true at all. You must not have been reading the forums the past 8+ Months.
Most of the issues adtv2 has had would not have happend if it wasent for the cryptsy waĺlets and coding issues right now the coin is stable it just not geting new blocks that fast
We need the hardfork that was planed to happen and we need somone to code it i have next to no money due to all preveous coders not provideing what they were paid for
This coin is NOT stable. It won't stay in sync, and it tries to stake while out of sync.
I wantbit fixed just as much as everyone but i cant do everything it needs a good coder to fix it and tbh 99% of the good coders are the onescmaking scam coins
Just get Github for Windows, push better code against the original to see the differences. Czecoin is good code (just make sure you take out the Devcoin stuff) and test all of your changes. Check up on some guides on how to Clone Coins and compile to help get a better idea of what you need to do. ADT holders will need to come together in order to fix the issues, it's highly unlikely that someone will just come along and do the work for you.
i think the issue is a bit deeper than just copying over code from a known good coin as adtv2 was cloned from cgb and that has none of the issues adt has

My wallet has been out of sync for the last 14 hours since it staked some POS blocks. Restarting the client hasn't help yet...

i only have one adt2 wallet open on one machine.... although there is another adt2 wallet on a different machine on the same network.
However this has not stopped them both staying in sync before.
So ADT2 is in sync for some people right now?
Let's get this coin going,

4. a mutipool up and running for it
also get your coins on your local wallet... this will earn you stakes and secure the blockchain.
really we get these done we will see a big improvement, let's not leave this coin to flounder around.

there are people looking at the code so we should find the issues soon ( if someone cloned ADT and hasn't changed all the necessary stuff it could be causing the issue

market cam have been messaged loads of times it seams they are more interested in coin that paid to be on there

I am looking at all the options to raise funds as I can keep spending all my money on fixing everything ( over 10k so far )
Is there an updated client? I notice I am using the old openSSL
isn't ssl shut off by default? or is this something to worry about on adt?
ssl shouldn't be an issue at this time but it will be updated when there is a patch
Don't think this is my issue as I only have one wallet runnning and my PC is on the dmz so it's wide open.

The other possibility is that someone has cloned ADT2 and has not changed all the needed stuff and its interfering with ADT ( just one of the things I am looking at
its also possible that its a windows issue or the port that ADT2 uses is blocked by some isp
I am looking into everything and talking to other people that might know what it is once the solution is found there will be an update that will also include a couple of other things/ fixes
that is possible but unlikely as its only affecting some people some of the time
there is an option to raise some funds to get things moving ( sell some of the unclaimed coins ) but that would be stupid as they could still be clamed and the price is low so it would take a huge amount of them
I am looking at everything and it will get sorted I will be posting options as they are available
one of the bigger issues is that everyone wants everything sorted and done asap but they don't want to pay towards it

Yes i totally agree with you that nobody wants to pitch in.
I suggest that we bring a dev on board for a share of the coins..... ie
Let's increase POS to 10% get some people holding their wallets open etc... from that
50% to a new coin dev who can fix things up as we need.
50% to fund new projects.
Also let's get adt1 and adt2 synced up properly so we can switch our coins over. After 2 weeks more we use some of the unclaimed coins for promotions and marketing rewards.
Multipool can be run by someone who keeps a cut of the mining %
website yes we need that up and and looking nice before we can start marketing hard.
We can push adt2 back to a good position but this needs to happen now. The longer we leave it floundering around broken like this the worse it becomes.
ADT2 can be a good coin we need to build the community up and get some activity in this thread.
If the new wallet has to remain closed source for now then so be it if people are cloning it and causing issues. Just release the new source to cryptsy and nobody else.

There is now a bigger issue than the sync one someone has clamed to have forked the coin and its looking like it is true
I think you could fit 8 GPU in a 4u case with a bit of creative thinking ( 2 systems of 4 cards )

I wanted to get jags input on fixing the POW on the old blockchain but making it so its a 0 block reward that way the blockchain will move a lot faster and we can get the swap over done a lot quicker

step 1 open your ADT v1 client
step 2 Put your new ADT v2.0 address in the transaction comment section
step 3 Put 22uyrdftuoQXZ8NV4ejuZ42L5ZZSxwckkr in the pay to section
step 4 Put the amount you want to swap in the amount section
step 5 Click send
step 6 wait for the coins to confirm and look in your ADT v2.0 wallet
( please note that due to the old blockchain moving slowly it could take some time to get to the swapping program and confirm the coins )
