Re: Which is more important bitcoin or fiat?
by

Bitcoin and fiat aren't comparable. One can't be better than the other. We have to use fiat for our daily needs, so we can't live without it.

Re: OWNR wallet. Buy, exchange and store crypto. Licensed service.

Staking is much more important than another coin listing. I prefer to not store my money on centralized service for staking
Where do you find decentralized staking services though?
Moreover, if you use those, why would you need staking in ownr before adding new listings anyway?
It'd be cool to see Ownr as all in one place.

Re: Stay away from centralized wallets

centralized wallets are very risky especially if you hold large amounts of assets. My advice is to use a trusted wallet such as Trust wallet or Coinomi. and safer if you use a hardware wallet. I never use or store assets in centralized wallets. i use trsutwallet wallet to store top altcoins and MEW to store the erc20 platform based tokens.
Absolutely agree, but I do the same, but prefer Ownr wallet instead of MEW for erc20.

B spent $5 and earned $500, which is 10,000% of the income.
It's not 100% correct. An option is a contract which conveys its owner, the holder, the right, but not the obligation, to buy or sell an underlying asset or instrument at a specified strike price prior to or on a specified date.

I like Ownr. It lets you create as many addresses as you need. But Ownr is closed source if it matters.

Bitcoin wasn't created to pay our bills. I don't believe in a possibility of making money with no efforts. In this term, completely passive income doesn't exist.

This will make Bitcoin more trustworthy and attractive for big investors. I guess Brazil leads in bitcoin adoption.

It sounds unbelievable and reminds me bold Bitcoin predictions like Bitcoin will go to $20k again. Anyway, Bitcoin has moved in tandem with gold over the past three months according to data from Digital Asset Data. So, it's reasonable to believe that the first crypto will go up too.

And how are these two events correlated? I don't think that Bitcoin is down because Trump tested positive.

The society is ready for becoming cashless. We make purchases using nfc payments. But the transformation must be gradual. Elderly people need more time to adjust.

Re: Why mixers?
by

That's why you use mixers. Good mixers will completely break the chain between inputs and outputs.

Why are mixers legal? The only purpose I find on them is to money launder. They are literally useless if you don't have anything to hide.
Why are privacy coins like Monero legal? They are even more suitable for money laundering than Bitcoin. Privacy is on of the basis human rights.

The safest wallets are hardware ones. If you can't afford it, take a look at non-custodial mobile or desktop apps. I use Ownr wallet, it's relatively small and less known than Bluewallet or Samourai, but still reliable.

It's so strange that volatile Bitcoin is a guarantee in the uncertain world. One thing I can't agree with you about is that Bitcoin gives the equal opportunities to everyone. It was true a decade ago, when CPU and GPU mining was profitable. Now Bitcoin isn't about the equality.

Having cryptocurrency as universal money is a kind of utopian ideas. Now the national governments can control the economy by injecting more money. They will never want to loose this power.

Tik Tok can't be used as a good tool for crypto projects promotion. It's the network designed mostly for making short silly videos. To my mind, Twitter and Medium suit for crypto promotion more.

Re: Bitcoin vs. Cash Inflation — A discussion on which is better
by
ADamien

Bitcoin and fiat money are completely different forms of currencies, they can't be compared. Which one is better? It's hard to say. If Bitcoin were as accepted as fiat money, people would likely choose it because of scarcity and decentralized nature, so theoretically Bitcoin is better.

Re: How does Bitcoin work?
by
ADamien
on 27/06/2020, 08:09:21 UTC
Bitcoin is also used for transferring money. Bitcoin transaction fees are smaller than fees for transactions made by banks. Moreover, Bitcoin is operating 24/7, it doesn’t care where and to whom you send money.
