Hi,

I have some Ethereum erc20 ICO tokens that have not been added to Cointracking. Is it possible to add the following?

1.) Sapien (SPN) - https://etherscan.io/token/0x20f7a3ddf244dc9299975b4da1c39f8d5d75f05a
2.) X-Trade (XTRD) - https://etherscan.io/token/0x9c794f933b4dd8b49031a79b0f924d68bef43992
3.) BlockEx (DAXT) - https://etherscan.io/token/0x61725f3db4004afe014745b21dab1e1677cc328b

These tokens are currently available on DEX exchanges like IDEX: https://idex.market

Anyone that is considering buying CoinTracking right now and you use Binance...DON'T.

API is unusable, CT says Binance won't converse with them.

To put it bluntly, this is a ClusterFuk... Angry Angry Angry

+1 Cointracking was not ready for big users amount. 0.029 BTC for useless service. I am disappointed. Please fix ASAP.

No offense, but I think you are both blowing a small problem way out of proportion. I use Binance and just load it manually after I make a trade. It takes about 30 seconds.

Is there a way to add a custom user token, such as CORN airdrop just being added to WavesDEX? Would be great to at least be able to keep track of it with $0.00 value so I remember it's there.

Bet all those people who decided not to swap to get Straks for whatever reason probably wish they did.

Nope, when STRAKS announced they were changing the deadline on the burn date I immediately sold my SIGT and tripled my BTC value elsewhere. Happy I'm out.

Why are you still here then?

Just clearing up any confusing since you were making assumptions about the perspective of everyone who didn't swap. I held *alot* of SIGT, some of it mined, some of it purchased, that I sold at a loss. I didn't immediately swap because I was giving the devs time to prove their character, and they proved that I couldn't trust their word when they changed the swap deadline. The prospect of locking up my hard earned BTC value to have it trickled back to me over 4 years time isn't that attractive of an offer. It was up to this devs of this coin to prove they were more reliable and trustworthy than the SIGT devs, and they failed that test.

I have other friends who did swap. I hope for their sake that this thing doesn't implode like SIGT. Everyone can pretend this is a brand new coin, but STRAKS wouldn't have the interest it does if it didn't begin as a way to compensate burned holders of SIGT.

Hi,

Simple question I'm probably overlooking in the help file.

How do I determine where my balance in a particular coin is held? Say I have 10 BTC total in 3 exchanges - where do I find how this is split up between the 3 exchanges?

Thanks,

EDIT: Solved my own question. Found "Balance by Exchange" under the header on the Dashboard screen. Now I've got everything balanced & my quantities match the exchange.

Nice job on all the new automatic API integration, you guys have been busy! Smiley

Hi,

I'm looking at Realized & Unrealized Gains report and I'm confused about how mining factors into my unrealized gain/loss.

How is cost determined when applied to a mined coin? Easy example... I mined 2 HUSH. It's showing a purchase cost & saying it's a loss if I sell this. How can this be a loss when I didn't purchase the coin? It should show up as a positive gain at any point that I sell it. Where did this purchase cost come from?

My mining is categorized as [In] Mining with no mining fee. I've selected "Add Deposits & Withdrawals to remaining amount" in gains report.

What am I missing here?

Also, is there a good way to keep track of mining equipment & electrical costs to determine mining ROI?

Thanks,

Thanks Dario and Cointracking for taking care of minor issues so fast !!!
It takes some time to get used to it and know it's insights, but it's very powerful...and indispensable tool for a trader
Maybe you should consider an "EASY MODE" for beginners /investors ...it will definitely get you more customers in the future

Compared to manually putting in all my transactions in Blockfolio & Excel, I definitely consider this easy mode!  Grin

+1 on the request to update the ANS to NEO rebrand. This coin is skyrocketing right now.

Thanks for the clarification Dario, that's exactly what I was looking for!

CoinTracking is fantastic, I'm really impressed with this. I can't believe I've used Blockfolio for so long  Grin

Hi,

I recently purchased Cointracking and have everything imported - great job on the software.

However I have run into an issue. The way that Cointracking calculates average purchase value doesn't make sense to me, I'm hoping you can explain.

Say I have a run of buys & sells with a particular coin. Then at some point I sell all my coins & take profit. After I've done this I'm effectively at zero value with this coin.

If I then buy a quantity of that coin at a new value, the new price divided by the new quantity is my new average purchase price, and the buy/sell average of the past should not be relevant.

The way your averaging system works is all of these earlier transactions continue to factor into my purchase price even after I've zero'd my balance with a coin. So if I'm at zero coins & buy 1,000 coins at $1,000, I get an average purchase price of more or less than $1. This creates incorrect profit & loss values in the chart.

Am I missing something?

Thanks,

I've been trading/purchasing through CEX.io the last month. Got verified fast, have had no issues, same with my girlfriend. Not all users are having a bad experience.

Coins dump = go on a shopping spree. This is the time to buy buy buy, unless you're a buy high & panic sell kind of investor.  Wink
