Scientists Announce Major Breakthrough After Discovering ‘Switch’ That Reverses Cancer

A major breakthrough is sending shockwaves through the medical and scientific communities after scientists announced they have discovered a “switch” that reverses cancer cells.

Researchers in South Korea revealed that they were able to revert cancerous cells back to a healthier stage by activating this molecular-level “switch.”

The discovery has allowed scientists to tap into the critical moment before normal cells irreversibly transform into diseased cells.

By doing so, they halt the progression of cancer and then reverse it.

Scientists around the world have been hailing the discovery as a major breakthrough in the fight against cancer.

This could be one of the best things to happen the entire decade and beyond. Cancer rates are historically high and now people will have a new way to live longer.

It was very bad for him to find himself in such a chaotic situation, but that's the risk for people who hold cryptocurrency assets when their identities are known to the public, they just don't know when there will be danger that will target them in public. Because this is not the first time a famous person in the crypto industry has been kidnapped in public, in my city alone there was a bitcoin millionaire from Russia who was kidnapped and had to lose his assets. This is one of the reasons why it is important to maintain identity or protect yourself when in public, we just don't know when a bad day will happen to us.

This thread might serve to save some of our lives in the future. I was already on the fence about whether I wanted to ever become wealthy, and here is plenty of motivation to tame my goals and desires.  Sad

Re: Amazon Layoff and Job security in this hard economy
by
AML Soap
on 16/10/2024, 19:45:30 UTC
Amazon announced that they will lay off managerial positions with the aim of saving  $3 billion annually. Some people heard about this; they were grumbling; it was on social media, talking about how hard it is to get a job in the tech space especially when you're laid off.

So Amazon CEO Andy Jassy in September said they will have a strict work-in-office policy. Usually, you could work remotely or hybrid, but now you have to be in the office Monday to Friday. 70% of workers already considered leaving because it didn't provide a good human experience; it wasn't prioritizing employee experience.

How do you ensure job security in a hard economic situation like this?

Now, for a company like Amazon to be laying workers off, and they're not the only one considering layoffs. Many companies want to reduce their workforce to save money. Personally, what does this mean for you?

For me, even with these layoffs, not everyone will lose their job. Amazon and other companies will keep valuable employees. This means that wherever you work, you must constantly improve yourself and give value unless you don't like your job and want to leave. Being valuable ensures job security, even in tough economic situations like now. If you're indispensable, companies won't let you go easily.

Does knowing about layoffs make you want to avoid corporate work?

Reference: https://techcrunch.com/2024/10/11/tech-layoffs-2024-list/

Yes, I do plan to avoid more corporate work. A huge part of my life was spent working for large companies, they tend to waste too much time with meetings, and hire over qualified people for generally easy, boring jobs. There were many great moments and good people, but returning is not happening asap.

Is this capital support for BTC or the hot event of BTC again? Which leaves us guessing

Not a hot event at all, please think it through: How many of the people holding a large amount of Bitcoin are going to want to use it to buy an expensive car? Probably not enough to ever make a big impact.

Imo, you will never find a single Best Indicator for trading any market. "Trading is an art, not a science." fyi: Prior to huge moves, there is usually a fake start in the other direction. When the short to medium-term traders are caught reversing those positions, those extra trades add fuel to the new move.

Would Bitcoin become The General Currency in the Future?

Do we even want BTC to be THE General Currency in the Future?
A Global, One-world currency where all transactions are public and traceable? Is that the best thing for the average person in the future?

Re: Exactly how does BTC development go on, if the current group all quits or dies?
by
AML Soap
on 23/01/2022, 13:26:51 UTC
putting it simply with 'core' having the major power play on what new updates can change the protocol. agreed en-mass, quickly.

if Wlad disappeared without passing on access to the core github repo. or github just froze access to the github repo of core. bitcoin will continue under its current version, without updates for a while.

whilst devs then re-organise under a new development tool platform and regain the trust of the community that their new platform access of sourcecode/new versions has no bugs/flaw/trojans.

this will take a little time for a new trusted power base to form which can have the same power to make updates the community follow en-mass (auto-majority).

bitcoin wont cease to function as a network. just a lengthy delay between new updates

Thank you for those details, if I had rep to give you I would.

Technically Bitcoin development stops if all the dev's stop or leave....

Thank you, now we are very close to the exact topic: A small group of core devs actually release the code, who takes over if they are gone?

its open source.  the codes already released.

I think the OP is asking about what happens if the core Dev team is all gone.

Re: Sphinx: The anonymous data format behind Lightning and Nym
by
AML Soap
on 11/02/2020, 22:31:00 UTC
What is Sphinx?

Sphinx¹ anonymously routes a message from sender to receiver. It provides several properties needed for sender anonymity in multi-hop systems:

Bitwise unlinkability: Any packet coming into a mix cannot be correlated to any outgoing packet based on its binary representation by an adversary observing the network. In other words, the packets are anonymous.
Integrity: Resistance to active attacks like tagging and replay attacks, where the adversary modifies and re-injects messages to extract information about their destinations or content.
Hiding routing information: No mix-node can tell the number of hops a packet has travelled so far, or the length of the path of a message. Only predecessor and successor mix-nodes are known to a given mix-node....

I needed to stretch my brain a bit more today, so thank you.

To solve this problem :

1)

Download PARI/GP

2)

Calculate e as accurate as you want, even 1 million digits do not take very long. You just have to establish enough memory with allocatemem()

3)
Convert each block of length 21 that does not begin with a 0

with the command isprime(,2) which is a rigorous primality test. The best way is probably to create an array with the digits-command.

4)

The first such block is the answer.

I did not post the full code, but I mentioned the necessary commands. I want to leave a little work to the OP.
