Re: gambling in strict countries
by
Aanuoluwatofunmi
on 25/07/2025, 19:47:05 UTC
Restrictions can`t stop 100% of anything. Always someone will break it. It is true for gambling too.
But as i said in that thread, restrictions will stop lots of gamblers. Someone don`t know how to use VPN, someone is afraid to break the law, etc. As the result someone will continue the game, but someone will change the way how they spend their free time.
~~~
Do you remember the moment it was prohibited? Do you have some statistics before ban and after?
I understand that number of gamblers growing up - young men begin their protests, a part of adults learn what is VPN, etc.
But the difference before and after ban would say, that the number of gamblers decrease. So it means, that the government can use such tool. If the number of gamblers would grow up seriously - they can increase fines or make something about it.
It's hard to get specific statistics, and such data is not that available. There is a lot of talk in my neighborhood and on TV channels about the increasing number of gamblers, and they are taking it as a serious issue. Since this issue is being discussed in the media and there are reports of teenagers becoming addicted to gambling, this suggests that the number of gamblers is increasing.
And teenagers use VPNs for various things, including watching adult videos, and then using them to access gambling websites. So now technology is easy, no one can be stopped. People are more attracted to illegal things to know what's there.
Let me also join you guys in contribution towards gambling and restrictions in some certain countries, we have this to be divided into three different categories, countries that totally ban and restrict gambling, secondly are those that are linient with their regulations about gambling even though they don't support for gambling, but being neutral in their decision as everyone is taking risk to gamble on their own, while the last are the type that supported gambling, we can't control what should be the fate of the people for gambling, if they don't gamble, they will engage in doing other things more worse than gambling addiction and there's nothing they can do about it.
I expect that  before we gamble, we should have know the kind of game we are playing and the conditions that surround playing it, whereas most of these games are deliberate and being intentional to come in this manner, this could be as a result of anything being into consideration for playing such game or for the benefits of entertainment and bringing back the old time m we memories for their fans, which we are to know the actual facts on this before gambling, base on my experience, I think they use to announce for such matches.
Re: How do people gain profit when crypto is dropping?
by
If we can define well the kind of trader we are, then we are going to be profitable in it, to trade, we must understand the basics of doing it, also, it depends on the position taken and the direction at which the market is taking, for instance those that go for short position while the market is on downtrend will be in profit because they are accurate about the prediction taken and the market moves in their favour.
Re: Trump Approves Crypto for Retirement Accounts as Bitcoin Surges Past $120K – Wha
by
I genuinely believe this will create long-term upward pressure on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
Either this come to be or not, the market will always be volatile to remain high or low by any economic influence or base on it's demand and supply, lots of factors could also surge it to rise as we had the bitcoin spot ETF and that of the Israel-Iran wat taking it down.
That said, it's still unclear how asset managers will respond. Many have historically expressed skepticism—Warren Buffett being a notable example. It remains to be seen whether pension funds and retirement accounts will eventually join the movement.
If truly this has been implemented, then every pensioneer will see it as a best alternative to them from the way their entitlement are being paid to banks and they make nothing out of it over the years.
Re: much money in the foodball and in general in life is a ruin
Money is useful, let's be clear, it is useful for everyone but to think that it is the goal to be pursued by overlooking people or honor and loyalty is something squalid
What do you think about football?
Did you think those players that are in European leagues are their for any other reasons than money? No. They are looking for a good career and money and nothing else more than that. If a Saudi Arabian league can buy them at higher price, they may prefer to go to such league. Only success is the reason they are there.
and whoever says no, I didn't say they don't have to earn
but between earning 10 million and earning 20, what difference does it make if you are a little loyal to the team that raised you?
go for sure you won't die of hunger
pure greed... more and more money
otherwise he can't buy the fifth lamborghini damn it
People in life can never have it enough, because someone's weakest point is the greater of another's achievement, to be sincere, the loyalty the players may have is when they are still working together and no one is in debt of each other, if you raised me as a player, then we both have the chances of getting the benefit in it, when i see another offer, then i go for it, we cant expect same thing to keep on being the same way it has always, either we like it or not, change must occur, either by friendly manner or through the aggressive way, each team cannot have same players over time except they are having the expected results.
Lets take a look for it in this way, we all aim high for the peak of our career and what makes us standout is our proficiency and offers we received, while when we go more further, some placed higher bids for us, now as you have said, this is where loyal, integrity and greed comes in, because its not about leaving, but the purpose for leaving and also the timing for it.
We cant blame some of these players also in one way or the order, because a football club for instance will not look at your years of active performance with them before releasing you to go or failed to renew your contract as a player, same also happens to some of these club when a player left them for bigger offers, its now common and there's nothing we can do about it.
Re: Are Stablecoins Undermining Bitcoin's Original Mission?
by
Aanuoluwatofunmi
on 24/07/2025, 15:37:01 UTC
I’ve been thinking about how stablecoins like USDT and USDC, are everywhere in crypto. They're basically fiat, mostly the dollar, inside a system that’s supposed to be decentralized and free from government control.
To me, that kind of holds Bitcoin back from becoming an alternative to fiat. What do you guys think? Does the dollar’s presence in crypto hurt more than help? I feel like it should be the opposite, Bitcoin taking over in a fiat-dominated world.
Don't let us get the whole thing wrongly, stablecoins are cryptocurrencies, pegged down with the dollar value, they are stable and not volatile as bitcoin or any other coin, but they are still cryptocurrency and not fiat, but why some see them as part of fiat is because of how they are pegged to USD rate and not being volatile, but that does not means this is really what people want, instead they also serve their own purpose and never have anything to do with competing with bitcoin dominance or so, they both exist to remain and coins are hold on stable coins when seen to be going through a downtrend and then later exchanged.
Bitcoin was not created to fight any other currency, but stand as a unique digital currency in which everyone wanted to use and have the necessary and required financial freedom when using, other cryptocurrencies are coming after the likes of bitcoin as they continue to make moves to be the same way bitcoin has been appearing, they are the one coming after the likes of bitcoin, bitcoin stand to lose or struggle for anything, while other cryptocurrencies are running after the chase to be close to it's utility and value.
Some people only receives offers to promote for a platform in which they don't care to know how reliable they have been or not, once they have agreed terms and conditions with them to work and get paid, now left for everyone of us to take time in making research on which platform to go for and the ones to avoid before using them.
You could have just applies some paragraphing to your post to make it more neat and appealing to read, if you're writing content this much.
Re: Before You Think of Giving Up on Crypto, Read This
by
1) Losses are part of the game. Losing your money doesn’t mean you are a failure, It means you’ve learned something, if you take time to understand why the lose happened in the first place.
Loss may truly be part of the game indeed, but we must not have to pass through this hard way before we can learn to know what bitcoin or crypto is all about, i don't buy the idea of learning in a hard way, but for us to be able to prevent this from happening, we have to be more conscious of the things we do and how we go for some of the offers we see online in a random manner, before we can do anything, we need to learn how its been done, take the effective risk measures and be able to control our emotions not to go too far in it for a start that we lose in a big way.
Re: Bitcoin going down
by
on 23/07/2025, 14:04:56 UTC
Hi what are your thoughts on new coins in binance? Any recommendations?
I cant recommend any project for you to invest or consider from an exchange considering their numbers in ranges, bitcoin now is currently the most trending and i don't see a reason why you cant afford to maintain on this lane if you're not in haste to making profits, currently, bitcoin is fast rising and any sudden fall will also lead to a massive fall on other coins, as they are not in season.
With btc going down and a bit slow I might try something new to invest in with extra cash.
Permit me to correct you on this, bitcoin is not going down, its volatile and you may only choose to invest using DCA approach to buy whenever the market falls and hold.
Re: Does the novelty wear off?
by
Aanuoluwatofunmi
on 22/07/2025, 18:05:42 UTC
If you are extremely rich and you can just gamble up to your heart's content, does the novelty of winning wear off? Like would you get tired of gambling since there's really not much risks because you can gamble with any amount and still receive little to no consequences?
We have money does not mean we should not gamble, secondly, we are gambling not because we are expected to make money form it, these are the normal basics we should always have in mind, i rich man can afford to gamble not because he needs the money, or think because he already have money, then he don't need to gamble, things are not done this way, there is a way we individually develop passion for gambling no matter the condition, the same way we cans also see from the poor, some will not stop gambling because they ate not winning, but always derive pleasure each time they play bets.
Re: Which is more regrettable?
by
Aanuoluwatofunmi
on 22/07/2025, 16:12:59 UTC
Let's say when gambling, you follow a specific pattern. Let us use lottery for example. You bet on the same specific set of numbers. What would be more regrettable? Betting on the same set of numbers for the rest of your life and not winning or... changing up the set you bet on only for your old set to win?
Basically, would you rather bet on the same thing again and again then regret not exploring more or explore different kinds of bets then miss out on a win?
This is all about strategy, and before you can decide on a particular one, you must be rest assured that there is high probability of it coming to be one day, while on this case, its not perfect enough for us to keep repeating on a number sequence we are not even sure about if they can come in one day or not, this sounds insane to me, when we could have tried other opportunities, being limited to a particular number does not increase for a chance of winning, instead it decreases on it, but some will think its all about being consistent or something related to make them win one day, but literally, its nothing of such.
by
on 22/07/2025, 13:11:02 UTC
No discrimination in bitcoin and its networks because it was majorly intended for the people, being an alternative, they truly identify this value and accept to use it as a currency in making payments, what else should the government do if not to attack on such, because its obviously not meant for them, but the people, while they cant control or regulate it, which is another reason why they see it to be an opposition to their monetary policies and regulation, the actual truth is, they cant stop bitcoin, they rather join in adoption or leave it as it is.
Re: Trading business vs. gambling business in crypto
by
Aanuoluwatofunmi
on 21/07/2025, 16:20:08 UTC
To me, running a financial market always seemed more profitable than running a casino.
But in crypto, is it the other way around? Are casinos making more money than trading platforms?
Doing a business entirely has a particular level of risk attached by default, because anything we tend to do in other to earn from it also has it risk associated, which some will say that such is the price to pay for it, anyway, either a crypto trading or running a casino platform all have its demands and risk, but when we have the idea of how to run one, which also serves as our preferred choice, then we are going to be profitable in it, but at the beginning level, we should start small and acquire more experience in them before launching in full.
Some gamblers are best known for playing slots, because they already have the preset mind on how it works and aligned their self to playing it the same way, so they already know what to expect, if you're the type that is into playing slots, then you will know the way it could bring luck to you and also the same way you can manage to enjoy playing it without being disturbed on what may comes after then, because everything there is all about luck.
Very interesting features and what i see about this being new is the way of its appearance, it could be such that is motivating for one to be more desperate in achieving the next rank from he way you see your current and next aspiring rank to be appears, i will it could be such we can see either through the telegram bot notifier  or directly on a web address as we have the bpip, i like the graphics used and the general appearance to this feature, though everything already had been well summarized under merits, ranks and activity requirements
