I was dealing with the same issue. I just got 4 S9's . 3 have the shit fan( not YLD12BM-12D)(just ordered 3 others from aliexpress https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Cooling-Fan-Replacement-D12BM-12D-4-pin-Connector-PWM-12038-12v-2-3A-6000RPM-For-Antminer/32850164857.html) and whine constantly. It is a piercing wail that gets in your brain and doesn't leave, building and building until you think your head will explode.

I found a solution. Reduce fan speed to 75% or somewhere in that range (3360/4920) current temps 82/74/76

I have been working the same issue for a couple of days.
I have 2 new T9's . I would like to move the heat from one of them into the house for now, and cut the noise.

What works -
Don't do anything. Mining room gets to 100f. Not really a problem. Rigs run 90-96c. Living space too cold with door closed but noise tolerable. Leave the door open house heats up, but noise!

What doesn't -
I started with the 4" adapters on the exhaust. I ran 4" flex house from each to a T then down 4" flex to a register. Fail. Temps too high and they shut down.
Took one out of the equation. Works but temps over 100c.
Set the other with 4" intake from outside. Works but again around 100.

Currently running 4" exhaust to 6" flex. Temps 84 to 94c. Progress. Off to Home Depot for 6" diameter register box! Hoping for not too much noise. Might need one of these

I am going to have 6 miners (4 S9's on the way!) I am going to run 4 to 6 inch reducers/increasers to flex duct off of each, to a wall which is in an out of the way place. Unless I find a better answer.

Once again I was struggling with this upon adding a sixth card. Only 5 were seen at first and then I plugged the sixth one in  DOOH! Then when I reboot only 5 again but 1 had dropped off and another came on. Tried changing drivers. No change. Then when trying to change again, windows said gtfo and refused to play anymore.

I rebuilt my usb bootable with the new 1709 . loaded it up :spinning wheels: and all 6 show in device manager! Driver that loaded is 388.13

They have stopped serving Washington residents. I had until the 2nd of June to close my margin positions. I did so last friday. I was instantly locked out of my account and forced to file a ticket to have my funds transferred out. I haven't heard a thing. The moderators are ignorant or flat out lying when they say it will be 24-48 hours for an answer to a ticket.

Oh yeah I got massacred the first time xrp went to 7050 and the shit hit the fan.

Think I might fall into the class seeking some form of restitution even if it is only threefitty.
