Let's consider memes as the ugly part of cryptocurrency that is inseparable from it, it's people who need to be extra careful. But many will not, do you know why? It's because they see memes as the fastest way to make a huge amount of money, so they prefer to gamble it than fold their arms idle and let possible opportunities pass them by. And of course, as you consider some a scam, many people have enriched themselves through memes, which is why it's difficult to pull off it.

Dead coins don’t just come back to life. If developers are nowhere to be found and it has been delisted from every exchange, it is time to give up hope. Depending on whether it is the native blockchain itself that is dead or just a token built on a chain, there could be major security issues. It would not be very expensive to do a 51% attack on a dead blockchain.

Usually, before a coin dies, there are warning signs and this is when you should have cut your losses and dumped it. I have not seen a successful revival of a dead coin, but there are some coins that are running on life support that keep going for many years. I wouldn’t count on them making a comeback and would just look for a way to cash out if they still have any value.

 

Thanks for mentioning V Systems, I had searched for that one lol. Yeah, he may simply have to tried to jump on the train of premined PoS coins at that time, seeing how much money was made with them. I see their website is still live, but indeed it doesn't really look interesting. It's still developed though.

On the other hand, Primecoin could have easily been upgraded by Primecoin whales, just like the Peercoin folks did when Sunny King slowed down his contributions. For some time, XPM was in the top 30 on Coinmarketcap, so some people probably made a lot of money with it. Indeed there seems to have been some minor deveopment, at least until 2022 or so.

All three, Primecoin, Gapcoin and Riecoin have also still websites. But Gapcoin's development was abandoned in 2021 it seems. Riecoin, in contrast seems to be alive and developed actively (last commit to Github was 3 weeks ago).

Bitcoin will always be the "coin to invest in", if you are looking for something else, you are free to do that and you could always invest into alts, I do too, but that doesn't mean that we are going to end up with something that will benefit everyone around the world.

If this could mean that we are going to end up with some crazy results, then it is not going to be that insane to think about how we could move differently as well, because alts are risky investments and there will be something that could change the world. In the end, bitcoin is the best one for a reason, it is the first ranked one, and everyone should invest into it, don't mean to say don't get alts, do get alts, but get bitcoin more than anything else.

We can't deny this fact that some actually made it in for investing on the coin and these same investors we are talking about are just few in numbers, they could also constitutes the inner circles of those behind the developers, because they get in early while it was not seen on every exchange to buy a d invest except on specific ones, all this came in as a rush hour investment opportunity for those that get the right information before things begin to go basserk and others dumping it while the majority of the public where busy investing and going into loss.

i don't have any names in my head, but i'm sure there are a lot of useless tokens out there that are intentionally launched with no purpose other than to collect people's funds and then disappear. these tokens have no underlying, are very volatile, and are based solely on speculation. but even so, people still buy these tokens in the hope that they can get high returns from it.. and unfortunately 99% of tokens like this usually end up being scams and cause big losses to their buyers.

Well yes I do think you are right about this. If a investor does buy a meme coin with those names then they can not really think they will make alot of profit.
And if they do think they will make alot of profit they should not be investing. And it is their own fault if they lose all their capital.
