Where is the next bubble going to appear. I know the bond market is in a 100 plus bubble and this is where im placing my bets.

This years boom I think was down to the narrative that institutional investors were coming in, namely the CME and CBOE futures. I think people wanted to front run their entrance. Will be nice to see what triggers the next one

I do think some collective collection of funds to pay for basic services is a good idea. Its when governments are using that money to spend on bombs that I have a problem

This might be an unpopular opinion but I think over the long term the coins that will be targeted most will be these privacy coins. They do have a use case but Im not sure governments will allow them. Its either Japan or South Korea that are banning them off exchanges

I think its a risky strategy for retail investors because of the volatility! Its very common within traditional markets but the difference here is the spread in prices in crypto is vastly superior for successfully executing an arbitrage trade. I think aggregated liquidity platforms will go along way to reducing this spread. I would say be very careful. Also choose coins with very fast settlement rates. Only issue with this is they those coins usually have very little liquidity!

This may go against everything most people want within this space but I think some regulatory oversight is the only thing that can bring an end to these types of schemes. I think SRO's can only do so much, the enforcing of the law is the only real action that can deter potential "pump and dumpers"

Apparently they had over 100 applications as well which is pretty incredible. I this goes to show that as long as we have an open internet there will always be a place to buy crypto simply because of the game theory coming into play!

I wonder if we could figure a way of putting a forum on the blockchain and decentralising the data held. Considering you said this has been hacked before. I do think there would be a huge spike in quality of material on here. You do find quite allot on non comments you have to trawl through to get to the hidden gems.

I can see it staying there in the short to medium term. They have what allot of companies are lacking at the moment and the is a really good marketing team. The emphasis on good tech is warranted but we see a whole host of amazing teams with amazing tech getting drowned out by certain coins with no product, and this is all due to good marketing. Justin Son will announce and announcement to and announcement about an announcement he may or may not make the next month haha and it seems to work

I think they have been created by the original founder of ripple which can only be a good thing if you look at the success ripple has went on to have. Stellar for me is miles better because it promises almost the same transaction times whilst being decentralised unlike ripple. They also aim to bank the unbanked which is a noble challenge

Yep, I don't agree with the original point that crypto has already been breached and even if it had, shutting the whole thing down is impossible. Look at the rise in decentralised exchanges since the turn of the year. This is just the start so if governments want to come down even harder then all they will do is push it further underground out of of sight which cant be good for them. You would rather have your enemy in your sights

The BTC dominance is always in a state of flux. I for one cant see BTC's dominance being reversed permanently. We see the dominance go in waves. I think alts have been very quiet over the last few months and the only progress that we saw come from bitcoin however as we have all seen, we are having a mini alt season. This I don't think is new money, Its more likely to be money that has been waiting on the sideline for the last few weeks waiting for any sign of strength to jump back into the alts. We are seeing a pattern of bitcoin jumping and then alts catch up and following btcs recent rise of 30% from the lows, alts again have followed suit so I think people are beginning to clock onto this trend. Long term I don't think btcs dominance is going to drop

it will have an effect that is for sure. Im not sure this will be the trigger to move us into a new bull market though. I would wait for more conformation first to be honest. But the average retail investor will not be looking at these tax dates, its the huge investors that will be most effected so it could have a noticeable effect

Andreas antonopolos has a great video explaining industry level standards of storing crypto. Very interesting. You would be surprised to know mobile devices (android,ios) with encryption turned on are some of the safest devices to store them on. Never a windows laptop though!

Mining in the traditional sense isn't too profitable really. The industry is getting quite centralised and this is squeezing the average miner out. You can however join a pool which has a decent rate of return. (nothing crazy) A pool is a bunch of people world wide pooling together their CPU power into one mining address and any profits taken will be distributed. the way they get distributed depends on the type of pool you join.

People tout quantum computing as a BTC killer but I disagree because its not like q computing will pop up out of the blue, this is a world changing technology that we will know is coming before it arrives. I think the bribery of miners by governments is the biggest danger. At the end of the day it was a currency that was the final piece to the puzzle when it come to bitcoin, basically money so what is stopping other entities offering more money to miners and where is the past evidence that miners are loyal to bitcoin? I think the majority are loyal to the $$$$$$$
