Btw, this casino is very old style, there are many other casinos have very vivid 2D slots and 3D slots, why still some people play here? It's like 1990s website, too ugly.
Its is very...retro/oldskool, but incredibly fast. And has 0.0001 Credit sizes, which others also may or may not have. And has a huge jackpot.

I find myself playing there more than on other cool 3D slots.

Hehe, yup, we decided to go for an old school look for this website. We really miss playing on the video poker machines in Las Vegas, so we decided to design the site around that style. Some people hate it, some people love it! Smiley

We also decided to make all of the games play quickly. This is another thing that some people really like, and some people don't much care for. It's hard to make everyone happy. Smiley

You all also decided to make it bot only majority wins and admin only wins whether you admit it or not. The proof is in this thread and is there in plain site.

The big slots jackpot is now over 480 BTC! When this gets hit it will be the third biggest prize EVER on our site! Smiley

Yup and I'm sure an admin will win it of course.

Well, When I was in test mode, I won 400 credits from 100 credit, while when I deposited a small amount of real money, I lose it all in one minutes.
I'm really out of luck this week, lose up to .1BTC this week in different gambling games. Smiley Well, I got to keep away from gambling.

never trust the free credit gambling!! It's always to good to be true. I once took 10BTC to 250BTC on BitDice's BETA test in about 10 minutes of playing. I can 100% guarantee you if I played that way with some real BTC I would've lost on my 3rd bet lol

The test credit and real credit modes both use the same provably fair game code. There is nothing that we can do to manipulate the outcome in any way. If, for example, we tried to give the user more winnings in test mode, the browser-side provably fair verification would detect it and report it to the user.

That's definitely a load of shit. Anyone can atest that when you play in free mode you win about 80% of the time. In fact in test mode I've won several Kenos of 9 numbers, never once over 8 numbers in real mode with over 10 thousand games played. So please BTCV STFU.

but i must say your slot is the best. the way looks, way it pays out. if i were you i would make 5-6 diffrent slots with same concept. just diffrent themes. your sitting on a goldmine

Thanks for the nice words about our slots! Smiley

We have considered adding themes for a while now. There could be a button next to the help button where you can choose what theme to play with. We also briefly thought about having special limited time holiday themes (Christmas, Halloween, Easter, etc). Smiley

Instead of worrying about dumb themes, why don't you answer everyone's questions from the last 2-3 days about fixing the bot issue, instead of implementing themes. Bot problem is a bit more of a problem, then adding some simple code (and trust me, I know its simple code just to add themes).

Admins of the site sure are quite in this thread now. What do you expect when you are fraudsters and can't back up claims properly or work with users to fix issues with the site.

Wow someone comes and registers an account after winning a jackpot to post on bitcointalk about winning a jackpot.  That seems extremely realistic.  It's the first thing I would do.  Huh

This smells more and more like fraud.

I've been playing on BVC for a while now, just want a bit of privacy for a big win.  Most of the coins for this jackpot came from my bets as I contributed to the jackpot for over 4 hours before I got it.   It's not that hard to win a jackpot, just have the right bankroll and keep playing until it is hit.  Other peoples bets don't effect your chances of hitting it.

Other peoples bets don't effect your chances of hitting it. You really can't be that F'ing dumb right? Have you seen the bot wins I've posted on this forum. It most certainly effects the chances of hitting it. As previously said, it does smell more and more like fraud, especially when you just register and don't even bother to read the last 5 pages of complaints and just post a screenshot. "I'm going to post a screenshot, that not everyone who wins is a bot". Well good for you... smells like your defending the owners of the site or are you part of it? Yup.

We just had our biggest 0.005 BTC Slots jackpot ever! Congratulations b20397fb81 on your enormous 405.48 BTC win!!! Smiley

Yup and probably another bot win or another BTC Video Casino mod win to keep positive. Amazing how the jackpot again went up another 100 BTC in a matter of hours.. AGAIN. Just like the most recent jackpot on 0.2 went up several hundred BTC in a matter of hours.

Why don't you respond to everyone telling you how to resolve the issue using captchas.

With as slow as your site is running 1 spin at a time on Slots, even 2 spins a second is fast unless it's on Auto Fast. I smell website moderator win. Just as the others point to your guilt.

Could you please address your site's stance on using bots to play your games?  Particularly bots playing the games only when the progressive makes it a positive play?

Sure!

Bitcoin Video Casino has an API that anybody can use to make their own creations. This can include things such as building a new UI to play the games, creating mobile versions, trying out different AI strategies, etc. We have nothing against people creating bots to play the games. This is essentially what autoplay does already.

What we do have a problem with is people using the API to create bots that play the games too quickly. It's not fair to the other users if the bots can flood the server with too many games per second, especially when the jackpot is +EV. If we detect a user playing, for example, 100 games per second, we flag that as a malicious bot and disable the account.

The problem is that we can't detect users that split the bots over multiple accounts and multiple IP addresses. As far as we can tell, each single account is playing the games at a normal rate. All accounts on Bitcoin Video Casino are anonymous already, so there isn't anything to make these accounts stand out. It would be terrible if we started flagging real human accounts as bots just because they happened to be playing at the same time as the bots.

Some people have suggested extreme measures like forcing regular captchas on all users, but I believe that something like this will make the site less enjoyable for most users. We are still looking for a better solution to detecting malicious bots.

Bitcoin Video Casino absolutely does not operate any bots. We just run an honest site with 0.5% house edge and that's good enough for us. Smiley

Yeah, after last night I'm pretty much done with BVC until the bot issue is better addressed. A captcha needs entered plus better filtering. I'll roll 20-30 Bitcoin only because of the hopes of winning it back, but when the bots log on and knock it out in seconds it really leaves a shitty taste in my mouth. Not the fact that I lost the money, it's the fact that I felt like they had an unfair advantage and just are snakes.

Honestly, the main problem might even be the progressive itself. It may just need taken out and the jackpots need hard coded in. The progressives are only benefiting the bot players and it also tends to look really bad on the site owners.

Also what stops the site owners from simply playing against the house when the progressive is up? They know the server seed... It wouldn't make sense for the house to play against itself if all the jackpots were simply flat rate.

The main problem is that you also cannot prove you aren't playing against yourself and robbing us when we are building up the progressives. Without the progressive jackpot then the house percentage and chance to win is heavily skewed.

Yes you are probably correct that part of the problem lies in the progressive jackpots themselves. When the jackpot has a positive expected return, there is an incentive for bot operators to quickly play games since in the long run they should come out ahead.

When we created the site, we believed that adding progressive jackpots would be a fun way to make our site stand out from all the others. The jackpots are always changing size, so it serves as an incentive to come back to the site and see how big they are. It also lets some lucky players win big prizes. Therefore, we designed all our games around having progressive jackpots in addition to a low 0.5% house edge. We'd like to think that there are plenty of users that enjoy the jackpots – they probably just aren't as vocal on this forum.

We are worried that if we remove progressive jackpots and use some kind of fixed jackpot system, we will disappoint other users. As far as we can tell, most users come to the site and have a good time. If we start changing things around, that may no longer be the case.

For what it's worth, the most recent 37.048 BTC slots jackpot was won by a player that was playing at a rate of 2 games/second. As far as we can tell, this was a regular user that won the jackpot. Regular users do still win the jackpots. We do also sometimes see that a jackpot is +EV, but nobody is currently playing.

We only ever play the games on the site when testing something out. We never try to win the jackpots. We know that in the long run, with our 0.5% house edge, we will come out ahead, so we don't need to cheat. From a business perspective, it would be devastating to our site if we got caught cheating, so we simply refuse to do it. There are a lot of questionable Bitcoin businesses out there, but we are not one of them.

All I see is.. blablabla.. not even attempting to answer his question of implementing away at stopping the bots. Blablabla, we aren't doing anything to win the jackpots, blablabla we understand your frustration, blablabla we are only worried about our site getting hits and wont change a progressive structure... blablabla F YOU to the regular player. Yup..

Like I said to my previous message of a bot win with Video Poker, that went un-replied to. Here is another bot win in Roulette. Goes to show most of these wins are nothing but BOTS. You said you wanted names. I gave you some previously and some more now.

I took a look at these accounts. Most of them were playing at a rate of 2-4 games per second, which is about the same as a user playing on autoplay in a single screen.

One account (it didn't win) was playing at a rate of 10 games per second, which could be a bot or multiple browser sessions playing at the same time. If the account shows up again we'll take a closer look.

Please keep in mind that the above list of users is showing a full minute of play. So even a regular user would get in a lot of games during these 60 seconds. 4 games per second on autoplay would be 240 games per minute, which would result in hitting 0 about 6 times every minute.

These BOTS, were playing for approximately 15 minutes until the jackpot was hit and stopped immediately after it was hit. Again, you want us to help detect these people and then you won't even help.

Acepuppy,

I made a post in this thread over a year ago about bots playing video poker at a furious pace as soon as the royal progressive made it a positive play. Bitcoinvideocasino (BVC) basically shrugged it off as legitimate. The conclusion I have made is that it's either BVC operating the bots to skim off the progressives or if it isn't that then BVC simply doesn't care if an advantage player is taking all of the coins out of their progressives. It seems unlikely that it's the latter as coins in the hands of regular players would likely be lost to BVC in the future so I think they have some hand in it.

The bots play hundred or thousands of hands per minute at the moment the progressive becomes positive. This is the reason I no longer play on the site even though I have no reason to believe the games are fixed.

Well said my friend.

I understand the technical aspect of the problem with the bots and being able to prevent them. I do believe somehow inserting a captcha if X amount of rolls are generated within Y time.

By limiting the API calls to the same amount of time that a regular user can achieve by using auto would also help. I don't mind the idea that someone can run a ton of screens and win, I just dislike the idea that others are having an unfair advantage (spinning 100x faster than me). I was literally at a loss of words when I was running over 16 browser sessions trying to hit a jackpot on full speed auto and a bot owner comes in and is spinning 100x faster than me.

Give it up, the site owners don't care to make changes as you can see from the weeks this has been going on. It's all about them making money, not us winning anything.

this was me and im not a bot.so its possible to win.i was using autobet setting @ fast.

but still i think it might be annoying if u try for a bigger one and then the bots log in.

Jackpots normally don't occur on the smallest bet when it comes to any of the games, except of course Roulette, where it isn't a choice.

Amazed how a site like this can't prevent bots from "spawning over new accounts". Yet you still allow bots to win pretty much every jackpot. How about you deny the payment to these accounts or is it the site owner who is winning the jackpots to save money?

You all are pathetic and are FRAUDS.

And to your response of someone winning large Slots jackpots, why does it need to be someone who continually plays for hours until the progressive is hit? How is that "provably fair"? Ever been to a real casino where a jackpot has been hit within a couple of minutes?

This site needs to be looked into.

Yes, the bots have came to the point of being unacceptable. I will admit, that if I had the source code or capability then I would use the bot as well.

About a week ago I pumped the 0.001 Slots jackpot to 35+ BTC and as soon as it got close to 40 then the bots started firing. Within literally 2 minutes the Jackpot was hit and all the funds I pumped into the Progressive were gone.

I understand the idea that they could've raised it and I hit it, but they are firing so fast it's impossible to beat them. I've played the progressive hard in the past and won in the end before, but there is a threshold that triggers the bot players and then it's over.

I don't know the solution to stop this, but I wish something could be done about this. The whole mindset of going deep or playing big is the idea that when I do hit, I get most of my money back if not more. It scares me to play now knowing that at anytime they could fire the bots on and zap all the funds I've pumped into the progressive.

Dude they don't give a fuck here. Check all the posts above. All it is, is excuses that they will fix it or "we have fixed it", when the truth is right there in front of everyone. Just look at the amount of users on the site right now not playing. 60 users and about 5 people showing in recent games.

And another fucking bot wins the Slots jackpot. Fair my ass. Also I see you are following the Keemstar person on Twitter and you favorited his tweet that you sponsor him? Looks like you/your team could care less. This forum seems to be your damage control. Please sell your site to people that give a shit.
