Yup they are controlling the bitcoin price as they are very good speculators and their government is facing huge debt problems and their economy can also collapse like Greece and Argentina, so they are well aware of it and have started taking precautions as early as possible.

Well, i do day trading with btc altcoin pairs.
There is also an increasing trend called e-whoring which if successfull, can yield huge profits.
But i prefer my old day trading.

Why?? Answer is very simple. Ethereum is a hyped coin and when the hype settles/gone then it's value is also gone.
Why i don't invest in Ethereum is that because of its infinite coins to be mined which is a major drawback according to my strategy.

Like other crypto currencies Bitcoin is also volatile, so it's price also fluctuates with time, so no big deal with the price fluctuations.
But according to me the price will show an upward trend after halving as at that time miner's will get very less reward for same(probably more) amount of work done, so they will definitely be selling their coins for surely more price.
