Unfortunately there is no other way (that I know of) of contacting hashrefinery, I tried private message also, still no reply.

Try Twitter.  It has been a while, but we contacted them there once when we did an upgrade to let them know to grab the code.

Can you give a link for their twitter?

does anyone here know why nvidia 436.xx driver versions are eating up cpu resources while mining with cryptodredge?  431.xx versions and below doesnt have such issues.   anyone encounter the same problem or is there a workaround solution to not use my cpu resources while mining.

I have exactly the same problem with 436.51 driver and i3-7100t cpu. Unusable as it is.

Hi,

What is the difference between miniZ v1.3n3  and miniZ v1.3n31?
Hi AcharyaOne,
there is no difference.
We updated the files about an hour ago with support for Maxwell GPUs.

In HiveOS, after creating the flightsheet and uploading the miner, if you want to update the same miner file with exaclty the same name, you need to delete the old one first from the system (or you will get stuck with the old one).

Because it may be difficult to delete this manually for some, we just added a new file with that extra '1' in case of someone needs it for a Maxwell and was using the v1.3n3 from yesterday.

Thanks.
Cheers

I get that what you are saying but there's a way to do it.
Maybe stop miner first but after that you can run the following command even from the dashboard (Run Command): /hive/miners/custom/custom-get http://miniz.ch/hiveos/miniZ-1.3n3.tar.gz -f
-f will reinstall miner

Thanks for your work, just wish it was a 1% fee :p

Cheers

Hi everyone

thank you for staying with us. Your feedback really matters. miniZ is growing better in each version.

There is a new miniZ miner version v1.2m!

* Speed improvements for 144,5 and 192,7. Major boost for RTX GPUs.
* Fee shares excluded from statistics.
* --show-pers to show personalization string.
* --smart-pers to use personalization string ‘auto’ if available, otherwise use specified pers. For compatibility with Mining Rig Rentals.
* --show-solratio to show number of solutions per iteration.
* --oc1/--oc2 for boost in performance when applying OCs to GPUs.
* Help with new look. Run miniZ.exe --nocolor --help to exclude colors (Win7).
* Improved stability.
* Minor bug fixes.

Use Cuda 10.0 versions with the RTX GPUs. For other GPUs you should test and see which performs best.

Hive OS support

Maybe I have to try booting from your image because I don't understand how you will get any fee from a linux os.
If I want to use your OS a fee will always apply even if I try another miner?

Maybe it is all evident for you but for me and I guess for many people more it isn't and that's probably one of the reasons there aren't many posts here.

First formal release  with: New Nvidia 387 driver, EWBF Miner, Basic miner crash recovery, Dev(0.5%) and BTCZ Fund(0.5%) fee sharing engaged, More icons set on the desktop for user ease of access, updated readme to help new installations. etc.

I am a windows user but I don't understand how does that fee work, I mean, if we start the image from the pen, won't we be able to mine anything and any way we want?

Yes, You will be able to mine any coin EWBF 0.2 supports.

Our hope is you would mine BTCZ

But that is not a requirement.

And you will not penalized for mining other coins.

But to be clear, The fee will still be intact.

How does the fee work?

For those who do not want to pay 2% dev fee I uploaded dstm 0.6 with 1% dev fee https://mega.nz/#!XjZyhJZa!zEGzsjEQkSu6uEk4rED3PFaoSRqdrvAXVLBfALpvOWY

This is a whole 1% less than the original dstm!

Do not write me about the ethical side of this issue - everyone decides whether to use it or not.

dstm 0.6.1 with 1% dev fee:

Would you teach me? pm pls
