Truth about Tenup coin and it's CEO Waqar Zaka
by

Hello everyone
I have found several controversial post regarding Tenup and it's found over different platforms. Claiming it to be a scam or it's founder a disputable individual etc. Everyone is entitled with the right to have their own views and I'll be sharing my research here.
One thing I found peculiar about these posts was that there was no strong logic or evidence behind the reason of the posts. There was fraud accusation only because of it being a fork of another altcoin PIVX. Personally for me, this reason doesn't seem fit anywhere because every other ALTcoin is a fork of some other coin and chain leads to the Bitcoin Core. I find it really appealing that TenUp has mentioned straight forward and properly credited PIVX for that because there are many altcoins which don't even credit their forking source.
TenUp coin is different from PIVX because their is a vast difference among the parameter and the features as well. Zerocoin Protocol is disabled in Tenup for some reason, maybe they will introduce some other technological innovation against it.

Coming towards those allegation posts, one thing I found common was they all were from a same group of people. The count of these individuals is 4-5 and all of these account were new, giving the impression that were made for this sole purpose.

Finally the Pakistani celebrity Waqar Zaka, he is very much like my country's celebrity Simon Cowell. People hate him for his appearance as Judge in the reality TV shows which in turn extend to being a hate against the personality overall. My search against Waqar Zaka yielded some extra ordinary results. He is the only face of Pakistan in the blockchain world. Furthermore which really moved me was the fact that he has been helping the refugees of Syria and Burma for that last couple of years. I found videos of him teaching them about cryptocurrencies and creating direct link with the donors. I have always watched the news about cyptocurrency being used in drugs etc on MSNBC and CNN, but never for once, I have watched something or use as noble is this. Cryptocurrency helping the refugees where other banks fail to do so.

In the very end, I would like to add that Cryptocurrency is nothing itself but the trust of the community and there is abundant of people that trust TenUp. I personally believe that people should look at other side of the coin as well other then hating a person for his media personality.

After all this research , I decided to invest into TenUp and I have filled up the form for the private sale as well. Awaiting response of the team now.
I hope this Altcoin reaches good standards.

Here are some of the videos I found of him regarding this chapter:

Hi, so I have spent alot of time studying TenUp now as my last response was in the post related to it as well. And I kept on learning about it more because it has got so much spice to it Tongue. I have found that Waqar , who is the CEO of Tenup has always criticized by many as every satellite TV stars gets. He has a huge fan following that support him in this venture hence they are the forming block of TenUp community. As for the character of Waqar I find it very bold and innovative by checking out his promotional vlogs. I further found many videos of him performing high acts of valor such as going to warzones and providing help and education to refugees.
Furthermore I think that the real reason for him getting all the hate is that he is the first one to launch an acclaimed altcoin in the region. I guess Pakistan people are reluctant to change somewhat.
P.S: I am personally thinking about investing in the project since it's ultimate purpose is to help the humanity.

Re: Waqar Zaka Crypto King of Pakistan Tenup.io Possible Scam
by

Waqar Zaka a self-proclaimed crypto king of Pakistan. In 2017 he started promoting onecoin and bitconnect which end up as a scam and January he launched his own coin ouicoin he did a private crowd-sale on his snapchat and collected a huge amount of money in his personal bank accounts which no one knows how much till date. Now its Tenup 13 Million Dollar ICO and serious question raises.

- What is the use of #tenup?
- Why tenup need 13 Million Dollars?
- Where will 13 Million Dollars invested?
- How will tenup make its place in the crypto world?
- 50 Million Premine for ICO and still mining more coins.
- blockchain explorer shows 100% of mined coins going to few wallets.
- No bitcointalk announcement thread.
- All team members are amateurs except one of the CTO who owns the company https://mparsec.com
- Whitepaper is plagiarised with PIVX content.
- What guarantee is that tenup is not ICO exit scam.
- Did Estonia Government or Estonia crypto association has given any legal license to tenup?
- What will happen in December and How much profits tenup investors will get?
- Why keep kicking serious investors from tenup telegram channel when asking serious questions?

I tried to join #tenup telegram channel and started asking these questions as an investor. Admin kicked me out of the channel and deleted the messages. Mostly I see on social media talking about #waqarzaka and #tenup either they work for Waqar Zaka or they are emotional investors. It's our hard earned money which we going to invest to gain profits not to give money to roam around the world on people hard earned money for his own benefits. In Past Waqar Zaka collecting donations on Syria and Myanmar refugees name. Did someone ask Waqar Zaka how much money was collect in donations and where it all spent? If someone asks Waqar Zaka this question he started abusing them. This is not the way to deal with your followers and Investors. He is currently using Pakistani Engineers and Pakistan card to make his followers emotionally invest hard earned money in tenup like some of you invested in onecoin, bitconnect and ouicoin.

So investors and followers of Waqar Zaka. It's your hard earned money before investing it you need to ask Waqar Zaka all the above questions. I am not going to invest in #tenup it looks like a total scam. He gonna end up saying He lost all the money as he announced in past when onecoin and bitconnect did the scam.

Do you think a person with 1 Million followers on Facebook and 110K Followers on twitter gets very few likes and retweets. Mostly retweets and likes are from his social media team and all tweets are mostly promoting Waqar Zaka and his scams. He is only interested to get hands on your money and live his life on it as he uses to do it past.

Anyone can add more questions to it so Investors and followers get a clear picture.
Greetings, This post really got my attention as I have been doing my research on scam ICOs and trying to maintain a list that can be helpful for all users and people new to avoid getting scammed. It's first time I am seeing an ICO from Pakistan. I always considered Pakistan as a conflicted territory considering the bans implemented in the state.
Upon reading the whole post I personally found it very negatively biased for it being the first ICO of the nation. Therefore It captured my interest and I searched the resources, reviewed the paper, joined their Telegram channel and checked the website.
I found that Tenup ICO is nowhere near launch and I think it's too soon to declare it a scam. I really liked the concept that Tenup is promoting humanity and they will use the ICO funds to research on mesh networking as well as provide easy venture supports to startups through democracy rights of investors. Mesh networking is indeed the next era of technological revolution. The majority of team is young but I believe that young blood is more determined and needs to be encouraged.
I have found the following details that I would like to suggest correction for to the OP:
  • This is more of an asset backed token/coin unless they disclose it's utilities prior to ICO
  • The fund raised will be used in development of mesh-networking hopefully. They have not disclosed the fund distribution yet.
  • The founder is actively participating in different conference which is excellent for creating contacts and promoting the launch.
  • Pre-mined quantity is not "50 Million" it's "57 Million" which is the hard cap of ICO. In my opinion the amount is fairly large but Tenup team claims to publicly burn the coins left after the ICO. The team will not hold any coins.
  • Upon over-viewing the explorer, most of the transactions were the masternode rewards. When I asked them about it on Telegram channel their team told me that "Masternode minting is necessary to keep the blockchain alive and to keep it sustainable against attacks. We will burn all the minted coins publicly". I agree to this explanation because it's a POS.
  • I asked them about the plagiarism, They provided me a plagiarism test result https://www.quetext.com/report/238912da3c8367881eee .They further stated " As it is a fork of PIVX many of the features are same and they had to be explained the same way"

I found a very strong community at Telegram and that is essential for the cryptocurrency growth. They seem to have heaps of trust on this coin and it's founder. In the end, It is the trust that builds the community.Even if it is a mere value transfer coin, it is still a first attempt from the Nation.
Well I have my own views , I was replied very politely at telegram and was given prompt reply regarding my questions. They agreed that they are still in preparation phase and they will disclose utilities prior to ICO public sale. I am shocked by the amount of private investors that Tenup has gathered without major advertisement. I will search more about the founder and try to share it as well.
I hope this does not turn out to be a scam and they disclose the applications and utilities soon.

I really like this kind of question, hopefully there were list of scams inside the forum in order that all of us will aware, but scam accusations can only be notice when the problem arise, or when a certain person disappeared when they already done of what they want to get. So I'm hoping that there are some people can give the exact importations about groups of scammers.

I am now in contact with such people now who can analyze and give a heads up about all such traps and I will be very soon initializing this list  Smiley Everyone is welcomed to share their experience in order to help others.

A well-maintained list of SCAM altcoins, ICOs and Exchanges
by

I have been scrolling and searching the forum for quite sometime, but I did not find such sort of list that included the names of all the alt-coins and ICOs that were claimed to be fake by the masses and was updated frequently. There existed some posts from about an year ago or so in which people shared their experience and claims for an Altcoin or ICO to be fake but there was no such list format, also they were not kept up to date.

2017 was the year of ICOs, no doubt in that, yet it was an year of scams as well. I have observed people losing faith over this great technology just because of their bad experiences with fake altcoins , ICOs or exchanges.
Reason: There was no such list that highlighted clearly that investing in that particular Altcoin is not recommended.

Creating such a list would allow the people stepping into the world of virtual currencies to be safe, earn profit and replenish people's credence in the virtual currencies.

I would require the help of bitcointalk community to keep sharing their experiences and thoughts regarding altcoins, ICOs and Exchanges that they think are fake and should not be spent on, so that I can keep updating this list frequently.
Together we can prevent losses of a huge number of individuals Smiley, unknowingly throwing their money in the black-hole because of lack of knowledge regarding the point of investment.

Re: Casino and gambling games based on Altcoins

For me, if I wanna bet, I'll go into reputable regulated online casinos because there are a lot of things in their algorithm need to be checked.
For example if you have 0% chance of winning, why bother gambling?

Surely that's a thing to beware of, but do these casinos actually payout if you win an amount or is there a limit prior to which you can't cash out ?

Hello everyone,
so I stumbled upon some gambling games such as roulette, Blackjack and Minesweeper etc.
What is the credibility of such games and crypto-casinos. Has anyone tried such type of games or crypto-casinos? Or are these just some scam schemes.
Thank You.

I do not agree to some extent, because it's totally up to you; What box did you choose to get ?? Cheesy
If you chose a fancy looking box with a lot of promotion and activity, it would surely be something ehh ?
