Re: Where to find the best wallets..

You can try https://jaxx.io/ which is in my opinion a reliable multi-coin wallet. If some of your coins are not supported by it you'll have to download their official wallets unfortunately. The only option is letting them sit on an exchange which I do not recommend for longer periods of time. You could also try https://coinomi.com which supports quite a lot of coins but is not yet available as a desktop version as far as I know.

If only people would understand that it is the members of a pump-and-dump group that are the intended victims of the pump-and-dump scam.

Mark this person's words. You will NOT profit from ANY PnD group as long as you're not in the inner INNER circle as an organizer of the PnD. read this: https://bitfalls.com/2018/01/12/anatomy-pump-dump-group/

Do your own research, maybe join trader groups where actual discussions about trading methods, analysis and the works are held. You'll be far more profitable and you'll learn a few things in the process. Good luck!

We hit a downward trendline after bouncing up from the 0.5 Fib of the last leg up. The 50/200EMA however has crossed up. We'll have to look at the test of this cross. A clean break will invalidate it and continue the downtrend. A bounce from the test may indicate a further test of resistance of the trendline and a possible break up. I'm more inclined of a continuation of the downtrend but we'll have to see how this one pans out.
https://www.tradingview.com/x/OSrAyxs4/

We've broken down through the EMAs. The first area I will see a (small) bounce happening is at the 12000satoshi area where the 50% fib retrace level is. For now it seems we are continuing the downtrend, I will look for lower prices to target if momentum keeps up.

https://www.tradingview.com/x/Xbpw7efl/

Target hit. If we break support here my next target is the 9500 satoshi area where the 61.8% fib retrace is, we may also test the 1h EMA resistance first. A 4h 50/200EMA downcross is also near, making this a potential mid term correction.

https://www.tradingview.com/x/05c8zEF8/

It seems the 4H 200EMA is providing support at this moment. If momentum reverses from here we will have to look for another setup, with the first target being the 50EMA on the 4H or the 200EMA on the 1H (being the same thing essentially). If support does break here the target of 9500 satoshi area is still in effect.

https://www.tradingview.com/x/X0U9cYbP/

The downmove did not keep its momentum and reversed. It has tested the 1H 200EMA. We'll be looking at another test with either a rejection keeping the 9500satoshi area in play, or a break upwards with a test of the downward resistance soon. I am neutral for now.

Protip: Don't buy things people on this forum tell you to unless you have read the whitepaper and are convinced yourself that the project is going to be successful. If I were you, I would go to www.coincheckup.com and start clicking stuff. you're going to have to catch up with the rest of us on what's happening right now in cryptoland, and it's not going to happen blindly following people spamming tickers in your thread. If you want to get into Initial Coin offerings, check out this vid by Sergio: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8nCEBoB_Ak He has made a spreadsheet where different upcoming ICO's are ranked. It'll give you an idea on what's coming up, and what's not so coming up.

READ WHITEPAPERS, I'm serious. They give you an insight of what the project wants to achieve and how. Read a whitepaper that made you think "What the fuck are these dudes doing, this makes no sense"? Don't buy, it's probably a bullshit project. Also make a free account on www.tradingview.com, lot's of things to be learnt about charting there. People also publich their idea's which you can pitch your own against.

I PERSONALLY think 2018 is going to be the year of Privacy related coins and decentralized exchanges. Some people think other concepts will boom. create you own vision, don't let others make one for you.

Good luck, have fun and if you want to talk just PM.

After the strong breakout of the big wedge we're looking at a breather. As it is with almost every other alt, 0.5 fib retrace is significant. However, the 1H 50/200EMA is about to cross down, with price struggling to test them. A further correction to the 4H 200EMA for support is probable, after which we can look for either a bounce/reversal or other setups. A strong upmove and a clean break of the upper fib levels may indicate an early continuation though.

We had a 4H 50/200EMA cross down a few days ago, last one happened the 14th of 15th of september so that was a while ago. The 4h 50EMA or 1h 200EMA has been tapped 4 times with a clear rejection. IMO we are looking at a steady correction to one of the older support lines before building some real bull momentum again. However things like Tether or any crazy news can cause BTC to go ham again, caution is (for me) the way to approach BTC in these circumstances.

After keeping it simple for years (2013-2016), 2017 was a year in which I have been very active on different platforms and have been using different strategies. Some of them went great, some of them did not. 2018 I will go back to basics, ditch the daytrading on margin and only hedge my holdings when needed. I will also keep my alt holdings for a longer term, which in my experience greatly reduces stress and time lost staring at a portfolio app. A larger part of my portfolio will be allocated to privacy-related coins and decentralized exchanges.

I shall also commit half a day every weekend to wade through the humoungus pile of manure that is the new influx of alts and their (sometimes non-existant) whitepapers. I'd hope to find one golden egg. If not, no worries, results overall have been very good the past year.

NLG has a little more to go before I start thinking about buying. My buy zone is marked by the blue box. Depending on the situation by then, I might start thinking about an upmove again.

We're almost in my buy zone. Seeing that BTC is going for another bullrun I will probably start buying lightly at 1300sats and start buying heavier the lower we go.

We've encountered a very good buy opportunity right here. Probable bounce of the lower support of this wedge. Don't go all-in though, be prepared to buy more the lower we go.

Congratulations to anyone who bought in the buyzone.

This is the kind of mentality Gulden has to deal with, not sure how the price will ever increase.

If everybody were to be exclusively buying there would be no one giving us liquidity to buy them. You need liquidity to stay alive. If no one wants to buy/sell nlg at any given time it would be dead, no matter how legit the project is.

I sold my Gulden 2 dsys ago so I contributed to the decline. I couldn't sit by while my friends and making huge profits on other coins and bitcoin. On the surface this coin has all the qualities but no one gives a fuck.

At least I have made some money back on btc already. Btc is king will never buy any shit alts again.

One sells while the other is just starting to buy... Funny isn't it?

I hope you made some profits off the other coins! I am starting to but very lightly now as we dived into my buyzone. I will start lightly though, we might have a few more 100sat to go.

I am amazed about strange thoughts some people has. Why wait for some 100 sat less? Gulden isn't cheaper in that way. The price is related to Euro and not to BTC and is for a long time around €0,08. I don't understand why some people are so preoccupied by a low sat value.  It is probably typical for cryptokids to think in that way, and has nothing to do with the real world  Grin

I'm concerned with making more BTC. I haven't put any fiat into crypto since 2015, so I must buy NLG with BTC. So yes, NLG is cheaper that way.

Descending wedge formed inside a larger descending triangle. I can see two things happening in the coming weeks. A continuation of the wedge downwards after bouncing from the key support at 1000sat area OR a break upwards out of the wedge after a bounce from 1000sat area. After a potential break upwards a reassesment is needed as it will encounter a longer term resistance from the previous upswing+ a longer term resistance from the downswing after said upswing, forming the triangle.
We'll see how this one plays out, especially with BTC being in a very bullish trend.
