Most of the suggestions mention investing in top ranked coins. My question is, does it always work? As far as I understand, the market is vulnerable and affects almost all the coins from top to bottom. How then you determine which ones would stay ?

This is a good opportunity to buy the potential alts at a cheap price and hold it.

I've been hearing this for a while until it really happened to me ,I was promoting a bounty project and after a week I decide to check my spreadsheet to see if I've been approved or not ,well guess what I found? Someone else signed up for the bounty using my btt account info excluding only my wallet address ,swapped with another ETH address.
This is another tricks some scammers are pulling on this forum, getting someone to work for them while they sit back and get paid for work they never do.
Always make sure you check the spreadsheet of the bounty project you are promoting from time to time,who knows? You might be the next victim.

I think projects should have PoA to avoid such scammers and we also need to check the spreadsheet regularly.

they are not important about signature forms, they are important about the personal information you provide, especially the passport.

Anyway after doing this, the value has fluctuated between ~8-12mbtc, is this a good way to get a feel for the market and use as a fairly stable investment or did I just get lucky. This would obviously be done for a short term and you'd only ever put in when it reached the 8mbtc mark again (or at least sub 9).
I'm wondering if I ended up getting lucky on this or whether it will actually function as an investment idea, these coins seem pretty stable short term and don't seem to move by much? I knowforex sites list the biggest gainers and losers but I'm not sure if that's just a plot to say you can earn 3% in a day...
