I want XC to migrate to the XC forums where it is just our discussion of our coin. Most other coins have done it so i dont see why we cant. BTC talk is a shit hole and it seems like the bigger you become as a competitor, the more moderating is needed to keep these threads in order. It would be alot less work for the team as well since very few trolls would actually bother making an XC account to FUD, and on top of that, you can actually BAN THEM so you never have to deal with them again
Additionally, this thread could be moderated such that it contains only announcements. The day-to-day discussion should really be taking place in IRC, our own forum (although I personally think forums are a cumbersome medium), or through an app like Slack.
I see no need to have day-to-day discourse in this thread. It attracts nonsense and takes up too much of the team's time to moderate this stupid thread.
There has got to be a better way to organize our community.
I agree. I'm in favor of moving XC discussions elsewhere, and btctalk for announcements, updates.
I've posted an updated wallet for testing on testnet, includes the latest group chat code and most of the stealth address code [stealth is not fully enabled in this release]
* Remeber this is for "testnet" only, please launch with the included batch file as it contains the testnet node information * Group chat works, most of the bugs have been resolved, but we'll use this release to identify any more * Working Stealth address's will be released tomorrow
Mobile Wallet Update * Based on the feedback, an updated release is coming with improved QR handling/camera auto-focus support
Just wanted to provide an update on the torsticks, the usb image has been finalized and they will ship as soon as soon as I receive them. The updated USB ISO will be posted tomorrow for those want to download it.
Dan
Just in case this got lost in the last couple pages..
Lets get back to business... Lets test what we can. Updates are still coming, work is getting done.
- Specifically, XC's funding comes from Dan's corporation, which has pioneered IP over RF in marine environments.
If you want to bring up Dan's corporation in an official statement and mention that it funds XC development then there should not be a problem naming that corporation, right? If XC is official as the name suggests and everything is legit then transparency shouldn't be an issue.
Clear information helps investors make sound decisions.

Re: [ANN][Blocknet] The internet of blockchains / XBridge / true cross-chain P2P
I find it very interesting that the blocknet wallet/zip file asks for a password,or that coingateway is not having blocknet tab anymore.Probably they are just fixing something. One thing for sure, not going to start this exe file until somebody confirms that it is a working wallet.
just bought before 1200 xc at 0.00075 never thought I would have bought at those prices ... never thought it could go further down. would be nice to know who the fuck is in this community that is dumping his shit his mom and da fuck genealogy out of xc right now.
Someone that wants to piss off XC people so when they exchange XC for block they don't get as much? I don't know..
The first thing that stands out to me that needs adjusting is Xchat. The conversation section is too small. The light grey text is somewhat hard to read as well.
I am liking the look and feel so far. Even though this is just a UI preview, I am beyond excited to have this on my phone.

I don't think the address is relevant to show the user all the time, rather it should be something you swipe to open. Also will there be an option to SMS the keys?
I agree. With the addresses hidden, the chat box could be brought up, and enlarged.
From that feedback, I hope you like the new mocks above ^^^
Yes I am liking the new mocks. What about adding a bar above the chat stating a profile pic, name, last msg received?

Pictures taken on Nexus 5. You can click the picture and on photobucket, there is a Zoom in function to view a larger size.
