Will Stellar(XLM) replace Ripple(XRP) ??
by
Aerilaya
on 04/06/2018, 08:12:12 UTC
Hey Everyone

As we know the crypto sphere, there are several coins in the market competing to conquer the same target; one of the reasons why most of the times we tend to confuse or relate a coin with another. In this matter, there are plenty of cases like this in the sector, but one that has mainly been sounding since so long is the case of Ripple (XRP) and the Stellar Lumens (XLM); two coins with great potential and under the gaze of many people in the industry.
For the one hand, we know very well that Ripple envisions to become a solution for the banking sector, and on the other, we understand Stellar was actually built to resolve the problems Ripple has shown.

Re: What do you mean when you say Bitcoin is number 1

We are entering an era of multiple digital currencies, and many of them will survive. Bitcoin is certain to be one of them, but it can't be number one for every factor. Where do you think Bitcoin will stay as number 1

  • Store of value
  • Services in addition to simple money transfer
  • Convenience
  • Security
  • Investment/speculation
  • Safe transfer speed
  • Privacy
  • Freedom from globalist control
  • Other
Bitcoin is number 1 because it is the OG of Cryptocurrency and Cool boys' club.
Store of value= Ripple
Convenince= Yes and No. Yes compare to Fiat currency and No when compared to other Cryptocurrencies.
Security= ITOA
Investment/Speculation= Steem or Tron
Safe transfer speend= Litecoin and Dash
Privacy= Monero
Freedom from globalist Control= All Cryptocurrency have freedom from globalist control.

Re: Will Ripple Price Reach $ 5 Late This Year?
by
Aerilaya
on 31/05/2018, 07:32:16 UTC
Currently, the market situation puts XRP away from $ 5. Ripple is currently trading at $ 0.57 per unit and continues to decline against USD and Bitcoin.
There a chance of Ripple reaching $5 this year because the financial industy is warming up towards Ripple.
Ripple is making headway and gaining ground on their competition who are outside the cryptocurrency world. This should be their main goal, gaining ground on the traditional financial firms since other virtual currencies do not pose any major threat to their business model. Western Union and MoneyGram are a couple of the money transfer companies that are warming up to Ripple with the adoption of XRP. This partnership is still in the early stages but if it happens XRP will increases their profits margins and efficiency of money transfers for these companies; it will only be natural that more banks and money order firms in the financial industry will begin to accept XRP into their systems. If this happens, the demand for XRP digital coins will skryrocket

Re: How will the Crypto market end in 2018?
by
Aerilaya
on 30/05/2018, 12:30:55 UTC
Something tells me that 2018 will be a 'BIG' shooker for some.
We are likely to see a massive surge in values especially when the Flippenning occurs.
Bitcoin will get dethroned and we might have new Crypto king.
Rumour has that Ethereum will overtake  Bitcoin as the Crypto King.
I have been hearing talks of an upcoming Multi fork that could stir things up within the Crypto market as well.

Hey Crypto Addicts Grin  Grin

A hospital in Scotland is believed to be the first to open a treatment centre for people addicted to trading cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin.
Castle Craig Hospital in Peeblesshire has taken the step of creating a residential treatment course for ‘crypto addicts

So how do you know if you are addicted? According to Castle Craig, answering yes to five or more of the following 9 questions makes you a pathological cryptocurrency addict.

1.Do I spend a lot of time thinking about different types of cryptocurrency?
2.Am I spending large amounts on cryptocurrency?
3.Have I tried to slow down or completely stop cryptocurrency trading — but not been able to?
4.Do I become restless or irritable if I try to cut down my screen time related to cryptocurrency?
5.Do I jump on the computer and start trading in cryptocurrency to escape from life’s problems or to try to elevate my mood?
6.Do I carry on trading in cryptocurrency after losing money — to try to gain it back?
7.Have I ever fibbed to other people about how much time or money I spend trading in cryptocurrency? Have I ever taken money unlawfully to fund my cryptocurrency addiction?
8.Has my cryptocurrency trading habit had an effect on my relationships or my job?
9.Do I try to get other people to lend me money when I have lost on investment?

If you have answered ‘yes’

Just once – may be a problem – this one thing may be enough of a problem to need help.
Three times – Addicted to cryptocurrency – your cryptocurrency trading habit probably feels out of control – think about getting help.
Five or more times – Pathological cryptocurrency addict – your cryptocurrency trading habit is probably affecting every part of your life – seek help.

I have answered yes more than five times  Grin Grin

Cryptocurrencies have the potential to change some of the world’s poorest countries for the better so why has Zimbabwe’s central bank announced that the use of Cyptocurrency is not allowed in the country? I’ve heard this and don’t completely understand the notion behind it.
Hey I am not sure if you heard that the High Court of Zimbabwe has lifted up the ban of Cryptocurrency. This is a victory for the Crypto Community let's celebrate  Grin

Re: Hodl or Fodl
by
Aerilaya
on 28/05/2018, 12:48:27 UTC

Hey Guys

Which cryptocurrencies would you Hodl or Fodl?
Please state your reason why

  mine:
Bitcoinl
*Bitcoin is father of cryptocurrency but I don't see it as the future of cryptocurrency
Bitcoin Cash< Hodl
*There is exciting things to come from the developers of the Bitcoin Cash
Ethereum< Hodl
*Simple answer: Blockchain technology rated ar 1st out 28th cryptocurrency
Ripple
*It's centralized and I don't see the really use of the coin
Dash
* anonymity and fast transaction

Hodl= Bitcoin
Bitcoin is the father of Cryptocurrency. At the moment it's bearish so it's not a good to fodl
Fodl= Ripple
I have nothing against Ripple the company, great company but XRP token I also don't see the use the token
Hodl= Ethereum
Ethereum is a must have cryptocurrency. Great Blockchain technology supporting the cryptocurrency.
Litcoin= Hodl
Adoption of Litepay, erosion of Bitcoin brand name and recognition for Litecoin utility

Re: Are you picky with ICOs?
by
Aerilaya
on 28/05/2018, 12:26:02 UTC
Yes I am very picky when it comes to ICOs and I look for red flags such as:
Unusually High Token Allocation Given to the Team
The team generally takes around 20% of the total token supply allocation. Amounts higher than this should be scrutinized carefully. Keep in mind that individuals are looking to gain personally.
No Specific Detail on How ICO Funds will be Spent.
The Importance of asking the question how the fund will be spent and what the company is planning to do after they have rised the capital.
Longer than Usual Roadmap
I make sure to actually check the roadmap out to see if it looks feasible or not.
Unusually High Amount of Reserves
A good use of reserves occurs when an ICO wants to make sure funds aren’t spent too early in the roadmap. If a project ends up being successful, the team wants to make sure there’s capital available to expand in the future. But if there’s no explanation for how the reserves will be spent, or who controls them, it’s a red flag.
Same Advisors as Other Projects
If I start seeing the same advisors on multiple ICOs that aren't related that could be a red flag

Its good to invest money in cryptos or to invest it in share market.Which one is good and which one is bad idea!!

I would say Crypto is a good idea because
Easy to access
Quick and Payments
Fast Settlements
Lower fees
Highly secured
Identity theft
No chargebacks
No third party
Facilitate International Trades

But would like to add that you shouldn't never invest in business or stock you don't understand.

Re: Is Monero a Good Investment?
by
Aerilaya
on 25/05/2018, 11:44:59 UTC
Yes I believe so. Monero is the leader in private and censorship.
Moving towards the future of the space, XMR may prove to immensly valueble to
many who are looking to truly move in slience, and no other coin offers this at the moment to my knowledge.
Monero has strong developer team and trades at $165,73 on coinmarketcap.

At the moment I am crazy about Tron's gaming blockchain which they will be introducing Tron dogs to the world of gaming.
The game lets you breed , sell or buy virtual dogs using TRX. This is a true innovative tactic
Might I remind you Tron is 6 on the top 10

on 24/05/2018, 10:02:24 UTC
The exhange I am currently using is Binance and I would recommend it to you as well.
The company has had ICO's in 2017; They have well over 100 crypto currencies including your market leaders(Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Dash and Litecoin  .
If you are looking into trading Bitcoin only it is a plus for you because the exchange is heavily centered around Bitcoin.
The exchange charges very low costs on transactions and user friendly for beginners and expert traders.
It's a easy platform to use

Re: Joining ICO
by
Aerilaya
on 23/05/2018, 07:09:34 UTC
When joining an ICO I look at the things like:
Team composition
(Do a background check of team members involved in the project)
Bitcointalk.org Thread
Stage of the project and VC investments
Community and Media
What do they need the token for?
Is the blockchain necessary?
Unlimited / Hard cap (future of crypto)
Find out the amount of market cap
limited cap (investment potential)
Token distribution – when and how?
Evaluating the Whitepaper.
Bounty programs
Affiliate links(Not a fan of)

Minimizing your tax liability through careful planning is always a good idea. Evading taxes, however, it's not.

My advice to you very simple. Firstly you should be alert when investing in certain ICOs and lastly this one is very important RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH.
If you see a project with potential make sure to research it before investing, if there is new and interesting Consensus algorithm research it because there always new and exciting things to learn in Crypto World.
Once you entered the Crypto World you become a life student just be willing to learn.

The market had me worried for second ,because with the bitcoin rally you would think it would "pump" the price up but sadly the opposite occured.
On the brighter side of things it looks as if the market has made a bounce back, plus the "predicted" runs that come will hopefully December like in 2017 for certain coins Smiley
Hopefully it's gonna stay like that (fingers crossed)
