I guess if you didn't get the jist of what I was saying the short version is. If you don't want to get PAID more than other pools, you may want to look into switching.

just switch, answer to the problem doesnt matter, just switch, i am seeing that it doesnt matter about some miners, just switch, cause you have plenty of miners on the pool that will fill your pockets so it doesnt matter, starting to sound a lot like corporate or walmart or something lol, if you dont like it switch, to big to give a real reason. i will switch now problem, without trust there is nothing guys i hope it works out for you, happy mining

no, just tired of the broken fuckin record. The code is there, I didn't build it, nor am I a developer and nor did the current dev build it. If you know where the issue is, submit the code fix to the open source repo and I'll happily pull and merge it into zpool.

I have nicehash miners running now almost since the pool started and the continue to earn so it's not really my problem to cradle everyones testicles to make them feel good. The pool is profitable so if you can't figure out how to do it properly why am I responsible? Whats the secret? Hire a developer to build you your own intelligent bot.

you know all anyone wanted was a real reason, my profitability calculations always come out correct and payouts are always made when they should be, and i definitely dont need you to cradle mt testicles by any means, its what happens when you stop mining, and you have your total earned, for example if the total BTC earned is 0.00432 and keep in mind you have stopped mining, over a period of time while the coins you have mined are confirming being exchanged and being cleared the total earned will decrease and for example you will end up with  around 0.00382 for example, instead of getting pissed off and talking crap to people just explain it none of the other stuff matters total earned should be total earned right? it used to be and if that has changed just explain why and if you dont know just say i have no idea or act your dev so you can give a simple explanation no need for an attitude, its not that hard just a real honest explanation, instead if you have a problem switch, you know there are miners out there that really like this pool including me, so no need to act like that remember no matter how much btc you make or payout the pool is as only good as the miners who mine it, no miners no pool, so thanks for your thought
Crackfoo's frustration comes from having said exactly what you want him to say at least 30 times now. Scroll back through this thread, and every 2 pages you'll see crackfoo re-iterate that he's not a dev, that he can't tell if it's correct or not, and that anyone with programming knowledge is welcome to investigate.

I've grabbed the repository and loaded it into Atom, so I'll try to see if I notice anything (success potential unknown). PHP is in my list of least-favorite languages, and this codebase is re-enforcing why that is...

After several blocks of LBRY....

I have found the reason for the drop when exchange happens is because the reward per block increases over time.  Its not a good holding coin... literally a mine and dump it seems.   Not sure how that's profitable, but it is for us that way.

By the time the block matures the value of those coins seems always to get adjusted by just about 25% (-1/4).   Which still isn't bad.

When pool hashrate is under 3Gh, pool luck is exponential.  I have gone ~ -0.014-18 in my trial period so far vs. mining straight lyra2....   but the days we have higher hashrates;  and get 1-3 blocks a day, it pays over 2X lyra2.

One of the curses of a high diff long confirm coin =)

Anyone else seeing close to the same results?

Ah, that explains it. Yeah, I've been seeing the exact same thing, ~25% drop after the block clears.

Could anyone that mines with the 1.8 Release of ccminer do a test against the 1.8 dev version.  I'm getting very odd variations.  SIB is double the hashrate in the dev release vs the official as well as odd results with  lyra2v2,neoscrypt, and x11evo.  All show better hash rates by a sizeable amount.Maybe its just my 3 980 cards.

could you post the sib hashrate you get with 1.8 and 1.8 dev?

On 3x gtx 980 cards with 1.8 Release my hashrate on SIB is around 4.4Mhash to 4.8Mhash after a normalized 5 minutes.  On the 1.8 Dev version I do  7.8Mhash to 8.05 Mhash.  Both are run with no commandline arguements other than basic settings of algorithym.  I thought improvements were supposed to be incorporated with every major release, not get worse from the dev to the official.

The 1.8 dev had a special lyra2v2 build that still does a better job with sib on my 980Ti than the official 1.8 release (but worse on lyra2v2 [-_-] ). I've still got three different ccminer builds I use for multi-algo mining depending on best hashrate: tpruvot 1.8, tpruvot-lyra2v2, sphash 1.5.80. So I guess just use whichever one is faster, even if it's older.

Long night in SF.  Got to the warehouse finally.

Here's some juicy tidbits:

EVGA GTX 750Ti normalization:
blakecoin=1.4,
blake2s=0.89,

which miner, looks like an error, no miner shows that much hashrate?

My 980Ti gets 4.6 GH/s for blakecoin and 1.8 GH/s for blake2s using tpruvot 1.8, so those 750Ti numbers make sense.

Is anyone else getting this much of a drop in value for lbry when it's exchanged? I expect the price to vary a bit from when it's Confirmed to when it's Cleared, but dropping by this much seems unusual, and it's been consistent for all lbry blocks I've mined so far. I just want to make sure I don't have something misconfigured...

Looks normal. May want to check the exchange over the past 24 hrs too, since that is where the variance come into play while in pending state.

Oh, okay. I guess I was expecting the pending line to drop over time, instead of a sudden drop when exchanged.

Still holding out for that lbry block.  BEen on it solid;  for a few times the only one mining on it (so it seems).    The share time has become so big that even though I am ~50%+ of pool hashrate I am still only at 10.2% total shares.... which is still totally fine given the profitability of a mere 2.5% share!

I appreciate the lowered fee... I have gone into the negative by the math on the pool luck;  should have had a block by now.

Finally got that block. Hoping for a string of luck now!
Totally.  The rewards are very very nice =)  I hope more people jump on the bandwagon to get a TTF ~ 3-6 hours or less.  Here's hoping... lol.

I'm jumping back on again.

I'd mined for most of a block when it was first added to this pool, but the payout didn't match what I was expecting so I had dropped back to multi-algo.

But I'll give it a go again for a few weeks to see if I want to stick with it. I get 230 MH/s, so that should help out TTF a tiny amount.

We seem to be speaking different languages. I can't explain any better so I'll just drop it.
Are you trying to say you need path redundancy for each miner app you are launching?   I could add the variables and make it so it can be left blank...  Id have to do some testing on how it will work, because I presently am unsure if you can call a %variable%%afterthisvariable% in such a manner.   might need some creative twist if its not that simple (which DOS operations can be hinky like that).   My batch is only checking for an open task name (not location) so i'd need to keep the original variable and add something like %P2A% %P2B% etc for each miner app version/location.

Im trying to undertsnd your perspective... if I can make it more versatile I am all for it....  But typically batch files are in their home directory where they are controlling stuff.  I typically only use a batch in a path-registered location like c:/ or c:/windows when its something like ls.bat.... because I always #$@% up and type LS when I know damned well its not.  Thanks unix.

I think what he's trying to to describe is this directory structure:

Code:
[mining-directory]
 ├script.bat
 ├[ccminer-1.8]
 │ └ccminer.exe (renamed ccminer180.exe)
 └[ccminer-x11evo]
   └ccminer.exe (renamed ccminerx11evo.exe)

[] = Directory

This way, both versions are named the same. Since tasklist returns just the name, and not the path, you only need to search for ccminer.exe in a single for loop. This means you can launch several different versions of ccminer in parallel.
